Biography:

Precocious and with out fear, though small of stature, never let herself be pushed into anything, let alone when it came to the older children in the neighborhood. She had been out in the garden, minding her own storming business mind you; when out of nowhere a slug the size of a small cat….. well maybe that was a bit of an exageration, but still, it was larger than normal…. Exaserbating! She dug her nails into the palms of her hand to focus herself, she wouldn’t let Daddy hear her swearing, let alone in French, that wasn’t the Irish way, even though Maman, well French sounded prettier in her mind any way so storm him to……

Where did she leave off?? Oh right, The slug had sailed through the air indifferent to the small tea party she had been having, to land with a splat right in the middle of her cakes. And of course she had to have been wearing the lovely pink dress her parents had just gotten for her, with the white collar and the oversized buttons….. Wainskottle! Daddy would like that one… anywho, so the cat sized slug had destroyed her cakes, and her dress, and of course it had to have been Sean O’riely… he was quite handsome, granted she was only 12 but even she could see that… Stupid, stupid stupid….

Slug, cake, dress ruined….. stupid Sean, was she back to where she had left off…. Well that’s just great, now she could remember. Stupid boys and there stupid games….

Personality:

 Madeleine sees herself as a true raconteur, a woman of the people. In reality you could say she is a little bit spoiled, and thinks she is a lot bigger than she really is, which so happens to be 4’5” and a half thank you…. Never one to back down, though she does have a tendency to get distracted by anything and everything, even herself… but yes she is quite nice to everyone and a dream to be around. So there. (This is her internal narrator, please excuse her for the inability to actually finish a full thought.) she also likes sweets, and pink, and her cat named waffles is quite nice to thank you.

Appearance:

For example, does the shy Ravenclaw girl secretly dye her hair black because she hates her natural blonde? Does the curly-haired Gryffindor use charms to hide his freckles?

Madeleine Antionette Fitzgerald. Half Irish/Half French Halfblood on her mothers side. Slightly smaller than average (I AM NOT!! You stupid, storming Voice....) Please be quiet thank you,  and I prefer to be called Narrater, THANK YOU! Now then, Brown hair that has a tendency to RUN WILD… ahem, apologies.. one might say she is a flair for clothing, and with the smallest dusting of freckles, she tends to accentuate with color and flair. (Are you happy now…..)

Option I:

The dungeons. A place eleven-year-old Evangeline had not yet travelled since her arrival at Hogwarts.

A place she really was just fine with not knowing; but it was too late. The dare had been accepted, even if it had been done in fear of being kicked out of Gryffindor, like the older girls had said she would because Gryffindors were supposed to be brave.

The air changed instantly when she hit the main corridor of the dungeons. The dampness was almost too much for her and she instinctively took a deep breath to avoid the sensation of being suffocated. There was also a sour burning smell which Evangeline assumed was from many, many Potions lessons.

Further and further she walked, her steps so slow and gentle they made no noise against the stone walls and floor. The feeling that she wasn't alone crept up her spine and raised the tiny hair on the back of her neck. Shivering, Evangeline wrapped her arms around herself. Suddenly, she missed the warmth and comfort of the Gryffindor common room. The fire was always going and it made her feel at ease.

Why had she let those girls talk her into this? She was only eleven, she didn't have to be brave. Surely the Headmistress would not kick her out of Hogwarts for not being brave.

If only she had these thoughts while being dared to search for the ghost of one Emma Birch, whom supposedly haunted the dungeons. It was not, Evangeline had learned, the place where the sixteen-year-old girl's life had ended but as she had been from the house with a snake as its mascot, it was the place her spirit had returned to. That common room was down here somewhere, she'd been told.

Something - the small blonde girl wasn't quite sure what - but something made her stop in her tracks suddenly. There was a low, dull thumping noise. Or maybe that was her heart beating so loudly she thought it was coming from outside her body.

"H-h-hello?" Her voice was barely above a whisper.

Remembering that she was supposed to be brave, Evangeline tried again.

"Hello! Is Emma Birch here?"

The sound of her own words bouncing back at her off the walls made her jump.

Roleplay Response:

 “Come on waffles, where did you run off to?” Madeleine crooned to the empty hallway before her; (did you ever think that maybe waffles doesn’t like baths??? Hmm, oh no, you're more than smart enough to think You know better) “shut it voice… I don’t have time for you” she shouted to no one in particular, and searched under an upturned bucket for the umpteenth time… He could have gotten to far? (When I get a bath, I just want to snuggle up in a warm robe, so maybe I should go get his?) "“WAFFLES!!!” She yelled, this time at a picture of an elderly woman scrubbing the floors, which, if you think about it is kind of redundant in the god forsaken hall… Right, waffles, where did he get off to.

She was just about to look under a bench, when she heard.

“H-h-hello?"

 That seemed odd, she couldn’t remember teaching waffles to talk, but maybe it was the castle? It did weird things all the time.

"Hello! Is Emma Birch here?”

Emma Birch? Waffles dint know anyone named Emma Birch, so then it probably wasn’t waffles. Damn, But maybe this voice had seen him..

“I don’t know who that Is? Strange voice, But Have you seen a cat??”
