Background
Carina Bloom is an Eleven year old, Muggleborn witch, she is the twin sister ( and older by five minutes) to Silas Bloom, who is along with her - a new first year to come to Hogwarts this year. Carina was sorted into Gryffindor during this years Sorting. Being Muggleborn, it was only on her Eleventh birthday that she discovered that she was a witch, as such just about everything she is seeing and learning about this year is brand new to her - which she is utterly excited about. But it is a little overwhelming for her as well, as many of her classmates know so much that she still doesn't know - which is more than a little frustrating as well.
Personality and look
Carina like her brother is a bit more on the short end of the stick - if anything Carina is even shorter than her twin brother. They share the same dark brown eyes of their mother. But while Silas deals with somewhat curly and crazy hair - Carina's is straight, for the most part - with a slight wave, she rarely ever wears her hair up unless its needed to be up - she likes it down. She is also proud to say that she shares her mothers smile as well.
When not in her uniform, Carina can often be seen running around in either a pair of overalls and a colorful top with sneakers, or simply jeans and a shirt, occasionally with a jacket over the top. Her shoes aren't always seen on however, as the girl can oven be found barefoot - usually while outsite. Her uniform surprisingly is kept in good condition, she takes pride in it and it shoes - although her tie can sometimes be found simply tucked in a pocket or over her shoulders, her tie she does not like much at all.
There are many similiar traits that the Bloom twins share, from their big hearts - to their fierce loyalty. But while Silas can't sit still, Carina can sit and quietly contemplate things for ages, even zoning out a bit - but in the very next moment she'll be cheering the loudest about something exciting. She switches like a lightswitch, quick and sudden as the burst of light. As similiar as they are at times, they are also different people - and they are both happy to explain in detail why that is. Carina is more daring than her brother, she isn't afraid to do something that she knows is utterly silly and bizarre - infact she'd love to do that - she's very proud to be called 'odd' or 'weird', infact she takes it as a compliment. While her brother has his moments, he much prefers to talk things through - while Carina will dive right in, particularly if she's protecting someone she cares about - usually her twin.
Being a twin - and the older twin at that - no she will never let that go, she is used to looking out for her brother - they are a team, they are a little set "The Bloom Twins" - although in Carina's case she sees it often as protecting her brother - something that she is already working on making quite clear at Hogwarts. Silas Bloom is protected by her, you mess with her brother - you mess with her as well.
