So.. How do I code a plot page?
                                                          Or a signature?
Or anything?

Basically I need coding help please..

Also when your trying to post a link to another thread, how do you do that? I've been trying to figure it out through trial and error but none of my trials or errors have worked.

There's so many people on this website who are a-m-a-z-i-n-g at code that you could talk to, and I'm sure they'll respond here. A good place to start, which is where I am right now, is this thread here. (Click me!)

More advanced things you can learn from other websites, which I'm not familiar with unfortunately. Maybe someone can teach me something here too!

What I caann tell you is how to link to another thread. Basically:

Code: [Select]
1) Copy the url from the top bar of your browser.
2) You then use and around that URL.

So! If you wanted to link this thread to me, you'd copy the url from the top bar,
and then paste it in between the brackets:
Code: [Select]
http://hogwarts-school.net/sortinghat/index.php?topic=5852.0

If I wanted it to say, "Ama makes the best biscuits!" -- I'd essentially be making a hyperlink which is just a reference to data that the reader can directly follow either by clicking or by hovering over the text.

So, to turn this thread's URL into a hyperlink we'd do ...
Code: [Select]
Ama makes the best biscuits!
Notice that to do this, we're adding an equal sign after url and then writing our text in between both brackets.

Hope that helps and/or that's what you wanted. I'd personally suggest experimenting with the little buttons over the textbox, there's plenty of resources there to manipulate text. Have fun. (:

P.S. - Almost forgot to add this, but you can see if someone over in the graphics forum is willing to make a signature or profile picture for you.
