Hogwarts-School.net has been around since June 2000, making it one of the oldest Harry Potter RPGs out there. It started with a small group of fans who wanted to create an intelligent, fun space to bring their characters to life, and over the years, it’s grown into a thriving community full of players exploring all kinds of stories in the wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling.

So, what can you do here? If you’re a student, you can dive into the Hogwarts experience, with classes like Charms and Transfiguration, and spend your summers adventuring at Camp Loki. There are plenty of extracurriculars too, like Quidditch and Duelling, where you can show off your skills (or just have a good time).

If you’re more interested in playing an adult character, the fun doesn’t stop after graduation. You can explore life beyond Hogwarts in our Elsewhere forum — work for the Ministry of Magic, heal at St. Mungo’s, or start your own business. You can even come back to Hogwarts as a professor and teach the next generation of witches and wizards.

It's the 1970s, and change is sweeping through the wizarding world. After 33 years of steadfast leadership, Headmistress Anneka Ivanova has retired, leaving the future of Hogwarts in the hands of the enigmatic Karina Ivansko. Meanwhile, in the heart of Wizarding Britain, Pryce Hir has stepped down as Minister for Magic after an incredible 31 years, triggering a battle for power. Interim Minister Atticus Rivera called for an election, promising to give the people a voice—but in a surprising turn, Tomas Bellestorm emerged victorious. His vision is uncharted, his intentions unclear. As new leaders rise, old alliances shift, and tensions simmer beneath the surface. What will these changes mean for the students of Hogwarts? For the magical institutions that shape their world? This is a story waiting to be told—a tale of ambition, mystery, and transformation. The next chapter is yours to write. Will you help shape the future of Wizarding Britain?
