Roisin Byrne is a Halfblood born in Ireland to a muggle father (Darren Byrne), and pureblood mother (Maeve O'Ryan Byrne). She has a half-brother named Callum Byrne and a cousin named Finn O'Ryan. Her mother died in March 1963. Soon after, her father moved a new woman into their house - a pregnant woman - and a few months later her half-brother Callum was born. Not liking the fact that Darren was unfaithful to Maeve, Rose began to act out and eventually got sent to live with her cousin Finn O'Ryan in London.

Roisin Byrne is a Halfblood witch born in Ireland to a muggle father (Darren Byrne), and pureblood mother (Maeve O'Ryan Byrne). She has a half-brother named Callum Byrne and a cousin named Finn O'Ryan.

Childhood

Roisin grew up in a rich household with nannies. Her mother doted on her, and so did her father, until it was discovered that she had taken after her mother. Darren did not like witchcraft or wizardry and as such, both Rose and her mother spent most of their time together instead of with him.

It is because of Maeve that Rose's favorite place anywhere she goes is the garden; her mother loved flowers and plants and now she does too. She feels closest to her mother when she is outdoors.

Hogwarts

Roisin didn't arrive at Hogwarts until her fourth year. Before that, her mother Maeve homeschooled her. Darren, her father, would not let her attend a magic school because he looked down on those with powers.

Camp Loki

Summer 1963

Camp Loki 1963 was Roisin's first introduction to her new life around others like her; she was set to begin at Hogwarts in the fall and so when she arrived, she felt overwhelmed by the amount of other kids at the camp. She participated in Quidditch, Duelling, and the Infirmary and enjoyed all three enough to continue them when term started. She met some great people that summer as well, most of whom she still feels lucky enough to consider her friends. She was in Team Dolphin that summer.

Summer 1964

Returning to Camp Loki in the summer of 1964, Rose was this time a counsellor along with her best friend Elsbeth Blaine. The two were sorted into Team Lear together. Being at camp as a counsellor proved to be more work but also a lot of fun for the girl. She was set to co-lead the Infirmary with Lily McCormick. Together, the girls put together a case study that involved three patients. Lily's patient was Juliette, who needed an antidote for a potion she took. Rose had both Romeo and NAME. Romeo had a horrible gash on him from NAME's sword and NAME was experiencing a panic attack.
