Biography:
-- "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves." Matthew 10:16--
A foal amongst the foliage, born from the first sin and tainted with its rogue. Prodigal, primordial, she weeps the thalassic tears of the red sea, for she is alone in this world carved from ubiquitous autonomy.
("All the better to see you with.")
Uprooted, the girl wandered further from the sanctuary of her mother’s poison canopy, where lie-spun ivy clung to her flesh as if it owned her. Against her fire, it burned, and she emerged victorious and naïve from the clutches of a religious cult. With her mother’s thorns in her side and gilded Bible in her hands, she went seeking for fabled fields, and found only salt. Enervated and hardly holy, she seeks truth in belief, and belief in fiction. This continues to isolate her, and the cliffs of her ideals are hardly surmountable. Lost, he strayed from the riverside, from her Shepard and mother, she found her way to an alternative home: her Grandmother’s. Yet, Red was doomed as a lamb amongst wolves and fairies, with only her wit to combat her family’s predatory instincts.
Among the hunters is the Wolf himself, a master of lies and spun secrets, who plans to use his status as her dearest one to parade about her flock. As the curtains open, her family’s all she’s known outside of God, and Wolf is still chief among those named. Obdurate, denigrated, and the paragon of her fall, he’s been a proper villain. However, as the gloam descends, there’s only one man waiting for Red to make it home.
("All the better to eat you with.")
Raised in a religious household under the rule of her fanatical mother, Red has lived a sheltered life punctuated by various skirmishes with her cousins and other relatives, chief among them Wolf, who harbors a slight obsession with her. A naïve girl with a chilly disposition, she only cares for her sinners at the last moment, and hardly anyone cares for her.

Option Two:
As usual, it was pleasant to escape the cacophony of the great hall. Without the persistence of Wolf’s company, or the incessant, inane chatter of her housemates, Red found herself ameliorated only by her solitude. Strangers, (even familiar ones), set her on edge, and if she’d guessed as a girl she’d never had believed just the population of Hogwarts could fit on the planet. The forests back home had always seemed so remote and wild—antediluvian and the way God had intended—here she had to share the scraps of nature she found, and it irked her. (Yet he was the one who had taught her the names of all flowers, was it not? He’d sing them to her, and braid them in her hair.)
“You blasted rat! Where are you?"
For her part, she attempted to give the boy’s effrontery none of her attention. A bit haughtily, she settled down on nearby bench and plucked her well worn Bible from her satchel, content to study a verse before classes. Yet, the constant movement out of the corner of her eye was driving her absolutely mad, and when it dawned on her
exactly what the boy was doing, she stared at him outright, disgusted.
"Can I help you with something? It is not polite to stare."
A clear look of annoyance crossed the girl’s pale face as her Bible snapped shut audibly. Like glass, she stormed over and gestured widely to all the corpses of blossoms, felled by his chaotic stampede.
“It is not polite…” she mocked, “To destroy school property either.”
What a heathen—absolutely incorrigible.
