It is rumored that he had his own brother killed to gain this position- though with nothing but hearsay they can't prove anything. His wife died in childbirth and he has been alone ever since. He doesn't see his only child as capable of inheriting the empire because she is a woman. So he's training his grandson to take over the reins of the Bacchus Empire for when he kicks the bucket. There is no love between them only a cold hatred and bitterness. She is currently the CEO of Raver Holdings and uses everything within her power to topple Lysander's regime.
