Biography: (100 words minimum.)
Dolos was born as the third and youngest child of Prometheus and Metis Deorum on the 1st of January 1937. He grew up in a lavish mansion surrounded by luxury, yet he was not spoiled. He had to work to get what he wanted or get it by deceit, something of which he had a talent for.

The Deorum family was (and is) an extremely powerful wizard family with many political ties. As such, Dolos was trained in the art of politics and diplomacy from birth, and he was taught respect and discipline. He was given an education at home and taught about magic and its inner workings. As such he is quite skilled and knowledgeable in magic theory.

Roleplay:
Reply as your character to the following:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby. "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:
Dolos was bored. Very bored. It was a feeling he was used to, but did not enjoy. Especially now that he knew it wouldn't disappear any time soon. He had already been bored for at least two hours and he suspected he would be for another two, if not twice as much. Usually he was correct in his suspicions, but right now he sorely wished he wasn't

Father had brought him along to Hogsmeade for the weekend where he would participate in a meeting with some people from the Ministry of Magic. Apparently he thought it would be good for Dolos to get out of the house more. It would have been a nice thought from his part hadn't it been for the fact that Dolos was quite often out the house, or rather, mansion. As such, he was quite certain his father had an ulterior motive for bringing him along, but he didn't really care much for the whys. The way he saw it, he might as well make the best of it and see what would happen.

Currently Dolos was sitting on a bench in Godric Park enjoying a red lollipop that tasted like strawberry. The sky was, unusually enough, clear and colored a crisp blue. Hogsmeade's weather was typically cloudy and rainy, but it seemed as if it had decided it would be nice for once. The sun was actually present and it shone brightly in the sky like a lemon sticky slapped on a blue fridge. Dolos had to chuckle a bit at the image of some random Hogsmeade villager angrily slap the sun into the sky, tired of all the clouds and the rain. He had to be really bored for his mind to conjure up such ridiculous pictures.

“You!” a sharp, squeaky voice suddenly yelled from somewhere to Dolos' right. He turned his head to gaze at the speaker and saw that it was a rather annoyed looking little girl. From the looks of it she was a good few years younger than him, maybe three or four, meaning she was around six or seven. “...Do you want to play?” the girl asked and Dolos had to quirk an eyebrow at her, his mouth twisting into the beginnings of an amused smile.

“Sure, why not?” he gave her a smile and stuffed the lollipop into his mouth as he rose to his feet. He cast a quick glance around and noticed the broomstick whose handle was stuck face first into the turf. By the looks of it, the thing had been angrily thrust into the ground, no doubt by the little girl.

“Now, now, that is no way to treat a broomstick and it sure isn't how a proper lady should behave”, Dolos shook his head in mock reproachfulness, a playful smile coating his features, “A broomstick should be handled with care-”. As he talked he went over to it and plucked it free from the ground with one hand. Upon closer inspection he noticed it wasn't a real broomstick, but a toy safety broom. It was much smaller than normal broomsticks and intended for children. As such it only lifted about two feet above ground. “-though I suppose it is alright for you to be violent seeing as this isn't a real broomstick”, he gave the girl a little wink and handed her to toy broomstick.

“Here you go, Miss”.
