Biography: Ioanna, named after her grandmother Joanna, was born to her mother and father in Belgium. They raised her outside of the world of magic until she was old enough to comprehend it. At the age of seven they moved to the outskirts of London because of unrest. She is an only child and the pride and joy of her parents. Typically when at home she helps her mom out with chores getting work done quickly and then works in the garden and always before supper has a long conversation with her father about people while he smokes his pipe. In the evening while in the comfort of her bed she is always taking notes on people that she has filed away for later. Her notebook is one of her most prized possessions. Her notebook contains a summary of the people she met, what they are like, and her future plans.
She is close to both of her parents. Gardening with her mother is a great pass time for her. One of the books she still reads is on herbology. Her father and she tend to talk about people and their inner workings. He understands her need to be able to relate and see the inner workings of others. With the news of Hogwarts her parents are happy to see her off but will miss her. Personality: Ioanna has a knack for being curious and finding out information on people and things. Though smart she typically uses her smarts to gain the upper hand in situations. Mainly she loves to listen and watch when she does decided to act she makes sure it works in her favor. Unabashed about most things she loves to try new things and meet new people.
Appearance:Long blonde hair and green/blue eyes she stands at an average height. She walks confidently and usually has her hair down because she likes how it flows behind her. She is self-conscious about eye sight and so she typically never wears her glasses in front of people. Instead she will do her homework alone or squint all the time.

The chilled air made her feel alert and ready for anything. It reminded her that it was her home now, very different than her real home, and she welcomed the change. Ioanna’s hand ran across the wall following the little dips between the solid blocks of stone with her fingers.
Her favorite part of the dungeons was learning the intricate corridors and how they laid underneath Hogwarts. The inner workings of anything always fascinated her. Her hand skipped a block as she heard someone call.
“H-h-hello?” Was someone lost?
“Hello! Is Emma Birch here?” The voice was stronger now and very loud.
Ioanna was curious so she walked quietly toward where the noise had originated. It seemed a classmate of hers had come down the wrong way, she recognized her slightly. Wasn’t she Hufflepuff or Gryffindor?
“Emma Birch isn’t here but I could always check in the common room. Are you lost?” Ioanna couldn’t remember the girl’s name but she could tell the girl didn’t want to be out in the dungeons for longer than she has to.
