In our post on how to pick magic levels (located here), it states the following:

Normally, your weakest area should have no less than half the points of your strongest (round down). If you have a good reason why your character would be particularly poor at something, please mention it in the Application - it should be more than "he just doesn't have any talent at this".

If you could either provide a reasonable explanation as to why Earnest would have a Divination level of only 2 (equivalent to that of an ordinary twelve or thirteen-year-old) or alter your levels so that the weakest area is not lower than half of the strongest, we'll be happy to take another look.

Just a few things before we can accept your application:
-It seems unlikely that "dark wizards" of any substantial influence in America would take an interest in a 13-year-old boy unless he possessed powers that exceeded those typically afforded to Salem students. Further, any references to "dark wizards" would likely need to be approved by an administrator as they might accidentally coincide with our current board-wide plot.
-With this in mind, it may be acceptable for Connor to have gotten caught up with a regular street gang, provided that any violence is treated discreetly enough to comply with our site rating.

Just one thing before we can accept your application:
-In the roleplay scenario, we'd like you to think of Simon as another player's character, rather than an NPC. With this in mind, things like "...she had practically had to sit on him to get the assignment done!" can be considered powerplaying unless you've cleared it with the other player beforehand. If you could edit your roleplay so that it doesn't reference any past interactions with Simon, we'll be glad to take another look!
