Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Mr. and Mrs. Davenport were an ordinary couple who led ordinary lives. They were an older couple who had tried to have children but had never been successful. After accepting that they would be childless they had a son a year later, Caelan. He wasn’t an ordinary boy. Strange things happened, but his parents overlooked it. He was a healthy and happy boy and so what was there really to worry about?

A few years later they were blessed with another child. A girl they named Noreen. Again, a healthy happy baby, but unusual things occurred around her every so often. Then when Caelan turned eleven everything made sense. Though it was difficult for two Muggles to learn that there was an entirely separate and secret magical community. But it explained the extraordinary behavior in both their children. Caelan was accepted to Hogwarts but he did not attend. Mr. and Mrs. Davenport did not like the idea of their son going away for school, and so he was taught locally. Knowing they had a wizard in the family, Mr. and Mrs. Davenport had their speculations about their daughter. And a few years later, they had their answer. They also had a witch in the family. She received a letter from Hogwarts but again her parents chose to have her closer to home.

Noreen was a rather quiet child. Honest to a fault and very obedient. As she attended school she grew a bit more. She was not as blindly obedient but she still had difficulty lying, even it was just a little white.

In her final year of education, Noreen received distressing news. Her parents and older brother were found dead in her family home. She finished school and struggled to make ends meet. She worked at an inn and then eventually for a wealthy magical family in Ireland.

Eventually Noreen felt she should leave Ireland. And so she found a job that took her far away from home. It was work as a house maid, but she found she had grown rather fond of the job and took great pride in her work.

Roleplay Response:

Noreen pulled on her cloak. She had lost herself in a book and as a result lost track of the time. She had an early morning and she’d needed her rest to get through the day. She felt a tug on the hem of her cloak and she jumped and turned to see what it was. A girl with a puffskein.

What in the world was she doing along and out this late? That shocked her more than the sudden and unexpected grab on her clothes.

“My goodness, well you might not be scared but your mother must be terrified!” Noreen told her. She held onto the neckline of her cloak and searched the room as if she expected the girl’s mother to magically appear.

She needed to go to bed. She had a schedule and when she followed that schedule she was the most productive and efficient. Finding a little girl’s mother could take hours. She really had no time to spare. But there was no way she could leave a young girl to fend for herself.

“Let’s find your mother. My name is Noreen, what’s yours?” she asked.
