Biography: (100 words minimum.)James was born on a beautiful sunny day to muggles, James and Mary Cook. His parents were elated at his arrival because they had long believed they could not have children. As a result James JR had a life filled with love and happiness. He attended a fairly good (though not posh) muggle primary school where his best endeavours were making friends with all the other children. For James, spreading happiness was the most joyful thing anyone could do, and he had a thirst for fun. At the weekends his dad would teach him muggle magic tricks which JR would take into school to impress his friends. His biggest ambition is to become a world class magician. When the professor came to deliver his letter he originally thought it was a prank set up by his dad. When he saw James Seniors ashen face however he realised something more serious was afoot. It took his parents quite some convincing. When you love your only child that much you wouldn't dare let them go, especially with a stranger spouting weird things about magic. Eventually, after some gentle persuasion, they accepted their special son's magical powers.
Roleplay:Reply as your character to the following:Godric Park.
Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.
Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.
It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.
"John, I said
wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.
Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.
Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby. "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.
"...Do you want to play?"
Roleplay Response:Type your response here.Hannah stood stock still, eyes wide, breath held. Like a rabbit in headlights. It was almost as if Hannah hoped that by staying still enough she might melt away into the air and become invisible. The small girl continued staring at her however, fire in her eyes. The truth was Hannah did want to play - with the boys - she was always more comfortable with boys. This girl was intimidating and Hannah wasn't the kind of girl who dealt with confrontation well.
what a nightmare She couldn't do anything to get out of it though. What would she do, just turn around and walk home? Might as well try and make a new friend - maybe the boys would invite her to play after a while.
Taking a deep breath she shrugged her shoulders and said, "yeah, sure."
