Biography:
Her trip to France was supposed to last two weeks, at the very most.

Normally it was Grandda O’Shae who made the annual expedition to Tuig, but not this year. The poor dear was laid up with a stiff leg and wouldn’t be able to make it for the summer festivities at house O’Shae. But this, Minera determined, just could not come to pass. After all, what does one call a summer without a few of Harbin O’Shae’s hand made firework displays?

Unacceptable, that’s what.

The resolute girl made the journey with her oldest sister, Aislin, but was promptly left in the care of her kindly grandfather. The aging man took one look at her and told her they were going to have a walk about town, show her the sights as it were.

“But Grandda,” she asked dubiously. “What about your leg?”

Her grandfather looked down at his leg, shook it a bit, and straightened himself. “What about it?”

Minera shrugged dismissively, smiled and bounced over to the man, taking his hand securely in hers. “Don’t worry about it, that's what. Lead the way!”

Personality:
From the beginning, Minera has been animated, hypercritical, and devious, though not without the recommended amount of childish innocence. That said, she’s an instigator no matter who she’s talking to, and will do her level best to make sure you remember her name. It’s possible that she only wants some kindness and attention, but more likely she just thinks the look of complete exasperation on your face is hilarious.

Appearance:
Fairly small, as far as children go, both in height and build. Long dark red hair, chestnut eyes and a very convincing smile, but do not be fooled. When that smile turns into a grin, watch your back, and also anything shiny you may have on your person.

Oh, someone was getting a turkey shoved up their nose.

Ordinarily, this kind of thing, though very frustrating, would not have resulted in the boiling over of Minera’s temper. But today had been a bad day. It was cold, she was sleepy, the picture of her older sister had gone missing the night before and she was almost certain someone had nabbed it, and now this.

There was a moment, just before she got up to inspect her assailant, in which she tried to remembered some calming technique Aislin had taught her years ago. Something about counting, and deep breathing, and knowing that very few things in life are done with malice.

But as Minera sniffed at her now pork chop scented shoulder, she decided that calming techniques were for the weak and unloved.

Grabbing a hand full of her own meal, Minera stood up and examined the girl before her: Unnamed, unknown, and guilty.  Revenge would be sweet.

“It would seem you’ve ‘lost your lunch’ as they say. Can’t have that now, can we?” Minera beamed, raising her hand to the girl’s face. “Open up, dearie!”
