Birthday: October 11th, 1944
Hometown:Fingringhoe, Essex.
Bloodline: Pureblood
Magical Strength (pick one): Charms
Magical Weakness (pick one): Divination

Biography:
David Wynn (Ƿ) Scrivner was born on a particularly uneventful October morning in 1944. Identical twin to Devin (older too, and he won't let Devin forget about that), younger half brother to Irma and older brother to Cress and Beau.
His family dynamics are well… Not conventional. His mom is an American witch (from the Bronx, and boy does little David wish he was a tough guy from there! He will often try and imitate his mom's accent when he's trying to intimidate someone...to not much avail, truth be told) who was his father's secretary (a good twenty some years younger than him) and his father is the famous publicist Marlestowe Scrivner, he works for Puddlemere United!
A fact that he's quite proud off and one he takes advantage of, because even if they have their own private box to watch every game in, when folks at the stadium learn who his daddy is, he gets the VIP treatment (granted, Devin gets it too, but they're as close as two peas in a pod, so it's perfectly fine by him).
David has always been a centered kid, leveled, an above average student, he's the brains to his brother's muscle. If they ever pull a prank, rest assured that the one who planned it, meticulously drafted out every detail and possible outcome, was David, the executor is usually Devin with little to no help from him.
He loves knowing and learning things, he's cautious and focused, a little library worm who would probably never take his nose out of a book if it wasn't for the pretty girls that seem to flood the library during homework time.
As most boys before him, his one true weakness are girls. He loves the way they talk and how they look so angelic, their sweet smell -like vanilla and lavender- and the way their eyelashes cast shadows on their lovely cheeks. He's still too young to understand what love is, even younger to understand what heartbreak means, but all in all, he's enamored with the idea of both things and girls.
As Irma was ‘Look before you leap, but leap anyway’ and Devin is ‘Leap! Wait, now I’m looking!’, David prefers ‘Look twice, and don’t bother’, unless it is to save Devin’s sorry hide.
→ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
Note: This section is optional, and is up to you to complete.
House Request: Gryffindor, please. I guess Ravenclaw would work too, but a Lion's heart dwells in David's chest.
Personality: David is what you would call the sensible twin out of the duo. He is overly analytical, book smart, smart smart, and values safety overall, but when it comes to doing things to help his brother (more like save or rescue his brother) or others, he'll do it in a heartbeat. He has a bit of a fluttering heart and is quite sweet when you meet him. While he might be somewhat awkward on his feet, he's a bee on a broom!
Appearance:
David is identical to Devin, even their mocking grin is the same. Their looks have helped them pull elaborate pranks on people by switching places to impersonate the other and they have even pulled it on teachers and one or two times, their mom.

Option I:
The dungeons. A place eleven-year-old Evangeline had not yet travelled since her arrival at Hogwarts.
A place she really was just fine with not knowing; but it was too late. The dare had been accepted, even if it had been done in fear of being kicked out of Gryffindor, like the older girls had said she would because Gryffindors were supposed to be brave.
The air changed instantly when she hit the main corridor of the dungeons. The dampness was almost too much for her and she instinctively took a deep breath to avoid the sensation of being suffocated. There was also a sour burning smell which Evangeline assumed was from many, many Potions lessons.
Further and further she walked, her steps so slow and gentle they made no noise against the stone walls and floor. The feeling that she wasn't alone crept up her spine and raised the tiny hair on the back of her neck. Shivering, Evangeline wrapped her arms around herself. Suddenly, she missed the warmth and comfort of the Gryffindor common room. The fire was always going and it made her feel at ease.
Why had she let those girls talk her into this? She was only eleven, she didn't have to be brave. Surely the Headmistress would not kick her out of Hogwarts for not being brave.
If only she had these thoughts while being dared to search for the ghost of one Emma Birch, whom supposedly haunted the dungeons. It was not, Evangeline had learned, the place where the sixteen-year-old girl's life had ended but as she had been from the house with a snake as its mascot, it was the place her spirit had returned to. That common room was down here somewhere, she'd been told.
Something - the small blonde girl wasn't quite sure what - but something made her stop in her tracks suddenly. There was a low, dull thumping noise. Or maybe that was her heart beating so loudly she thought it was coming from outside her body.
"H-h-hello?" Her voice was barely above a whisper.
Remembering that she was supposed to be brave, Evangeline tried again.
"Hello! Is Emma Birch here?"
The sound of her own words bouncing back at her off the walls made her jump.
RESPONSE:
For someone as smart as David Scrivner, the fact that the kitchens of the marvelous school he was attending were located in the dungeons was, for a lack of a better word, preposterous.
There simply was no logical reason for them to have decided to locate it there. The dungeons were cold, dark and damp, the perfect combo for mold to grow on perishable foods and for bread and other baked goods to go stale.
That was the main reason why David was roaming the halls of the dungeons that particular night. He knew the kitchens were there, supposedly -according to the pretty Hufflepuff he had met at the library- behind a painting of a fruit bowl, and if you tickled the pear, you'd be allowed in. So in the interest of keeping food from going bad from the bad placement of the kitchens, David decided he'd relieve the elves from their duty of packing cookies and he'd just eat them himself, he was selfless like that.
After a good fifteen minutes of roaming the halls, the little first year hadn't been able to find the bloody painting and was about ready to give up when…
"H-h-hello?...Hello! Is Emma Birch here?"
He jumped a bit in fright. Who, in Godric's name, goes around the dungeons at night calling the name of a girl who supposedly died there!? Making a show of yawning loudly and stomping his feet a bit more to make sure she heard him coming, David rounded the corner and said, “I'm no Birch, but if you really want to find her I'll make you a deal: help me find the kitchen, have some cookies with me and then I'll join you in your search?”
He finished his statement with a wink. Smooth.
