Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Corvus Pryce Rose was born to James and Anita Rose on September 21, 1924. When he was only eight, his mother passed away from Dragon Pox. Right before her death, Anita had been a sickly green color covered in the pox, but on the day of her funeral, she looked as beautiful as she had before the disease hit. The man running the funeral home had let Corvus see her and say his goodbyes before she was buried. It had helped him a lot, especially since he didn’t get to see his mother in her final days. This experience always stuck with him, and he wanted to help others in the same way.
During school, he became interested, especially in Transfiguration and Divination. He also volunteered in the Hospital Wing every year. Sports were never his thing, but he was always quick and calm when dealing with Quidditch emergencies.
He took a keen interest in the subject of death, reading what he could about the subject. What happened when someone died? What happened after? He often wondered what his mother had gone through. Did it hurt? Did she even know? Did she still exist in some form?
After graduation, Corvus became a Junior Healer at St. Mungo’s, eager to help people, and help their families if needed. Though he is not the best with most social situations, coming off as odd or quirky, he is very good at comforting others in times of grief. Which is good, as it makes him happier than anything to help others get through tough times.
Corvus enjoys the company of other people, though is not well-versed in proper social behavior. It probably also doesn’t help that he sometimes wears odd, outlandish clothing, and enjoys wearing eyeliner. He can come off as awkward, or even creepy by his appearance. But in reality, he’s just a teddy bear who is very easy-going.
He enjoys things like poetry and art, and is a bit of a romantic. He lives in the city, but one day hopes to own a nice house out in the country with sheep.

Option Two -
The snow had been falling steadily all morning and it didn't look like it was going to stop any time soon. Joshua Campbell scrunched his face up in a frown as he lifted his gaze to look to the sky. Snow. It really was quite a bother.
And it certainly didn't make it better that Diagon Alley seemed to be getting more and more crowded. Joshua sighed and pointed his wand at the large box that was currently placed on the doorstep of his shop. He had to get going. He had an order to deliver.
"Wingardium Leviosa!" The elderly man muttered and watched the box hover in the air for a moment. Honestly, did St. Mungo's really need that much tinsel? And with glitter of all things? He sighed again. If it hadn't been for the rather convincing stamp on the order, he would have been likely to believe it had been a prank by one of those orphaned rascals living up there.
Oh well, there was no point in waiting. Joshua deftly stirred the box down the doorstep and out onto the street, carefully levitating it above the heads of the crowd.
"Coming through! Coming through!" His voice sounded over the chatter of the crowd. "Keep out! Move ahead! Go on!" This was going way too slow. People were in the way and walking like they had all day! He huffed. Luckily the road was down hill.
"Coming through! Coming th--- arrrgh!" Joshua let out a loud shout as his feet suddenly slipped in the snow and sent him, the box, and several long strands of tinsel tumbling into the person who had been walking in front of him.
"For Merlin's sake!" Joshua muttered angrily as he hurried to his feet again, red and gold tinsel now decorating his black coat. "I am so sorry! This blasted snow!" He looked apologetic at the person he had crashed into.
Roleplay Response:
While some might call the weather outside awful, Corvus loved it. The way the snow shined off the rooftops of the buildings. He didn’t come to Diagon Alley too often, but every so often, he’d stop by Blackwood Books and see what they had in stock. He had the day off, so he figured it’d be a nice day to go out.
Corvus was nice and cozy in his sweater and scarf. A lot of other people out looked cozy, too. Every so often he’d see a snowman, or kids throwing snowballs at each other, and smile.
Of course, he hadn’t realized how slow he’d been walking until he heard the man behind him. Corvus tried to move, but then all at once, the man slipped and the box in his arms went flying.
“Are you alright?” Corvus asked. The man was already back up on his feet, so at least he didn’t seem injured. Corvus picked up some of the fallen tinsel from the ground and his sweater and returned to the box. “Need any help carrying it? Where are you headed?” He asked, earnestly. Even if it was out of his way, he didn’t mind. After all, if he was in the older man’s shoes, he wouldn’t mind help either. And it was rather icy out.
