Biography:

Acuzio Knightlock was born on July 4th to Callidora and Prescott Knightlock. He was the only child they would ever bear.

Callidora's maiden name was Isador, and she was the cousin of the female Montclaire head of family. She was more than happy to meet and wed Prescott, having heard what family he came from. Acuzio is Elizabeth Knightlock's second cousin, his father being her father's cousin.

When Acuzio was only 6, his mother was killed by a critical form of brain cancer. When they finally found it, it had spread too far to fully cure. He spent the remainder of his childhood with only his father, and the two are very close, though their relationship is tested by Prescott's time away for work.

Acuzio developed a deep love for music all throughout his childhood. His mother started him on it when he was little, and it only grew when his father passed on an old pair of DT48 headphones, the same pair that had been passed down for generations. They forever remained in the same weathered box. His father told him they were from the very first manufactured pairs of headphones, and almost none were sold commercially. As he went to Hogwarts, it was a strange day if you saw him without some kind of headphones. He would dangle them around his neck during class, and pop them back on in the hallways.

At eleven, he started his trek at Hoggies. It was strange for him to attend Hogwarts at such an early age, because the Knightlocks put their children through tutor-based schooling for at least the first three to five years of education. Acuzio was an exception, since it was Callidora’s wish to send him to Hogwarts right at eleven. Prescott felt obligated to comply with his late wife’s wishes. It took a little while for everyone to get used to Zio’s quirky ways, but as they did, he found  himself easily likable. He was not without enemies, though. Few and far between as they were.

SAMPLE ROLEPLAY

Option I:

Blimey, the Great Hall was packed. It seemed like everywhere a guy looked there was some clown waving around a House banner or yelling about the game.

'Can you believe it?' 'No way!' 'This must be the biggest upset in Hogwarts Quidditch history...'

Stupid Quidditch.

James flopped into an empty seat at the end of the table, shoved an empty plate out of the way, and let his head sink onto his crossed arms, squishing his freckled nose down flat against the tabletop. He wasn't sure why he'd even bothered to come here, since he definitely wasn't hungry. He'd probably never eat again, in fact. He didn'tdeserve to eat. He hadn't stopped in the locker room to change out of his muddy, sweaty uniform after the game either, because he was pretty sure he probably didn't deserve to be clean too; and anyway he couldn't stand to see the looks on his team mates' faces after he blew their chance at winning one of the biggest games they had ever played.

Just one lousy shot. That's all it would have taken. If he could have just got that one stupid foul shot to go through that one stupid hoop, they could have won and he wouldn't have been the biggest blockhead in the entire school.

As if to prove the point, half the people at the next table suddenly broke into a loud victory chant. James pressed his face further into his arms to hide the bright red blotches he could feel creeping up his cheeks. That was it. He was just going to have to run away and move to Nova Scotia. He'd just cost the three-year-in-a-row Champions the Quidditch Cup! How do you ever live that one down for crying out loud? He was only a second year and he was going to spend the rest of his life as 'that dumb cry-baby kid who dropped the Quaffle!'

It felt like every set of eyes in the room was boring into him, and James couldn't stand it anymore. He jerked himself back up from the table and stomped right back out of the Hall the same way he had come in. As he stormed into the quieter hallway outside, he could hear footsteps somewhere behind him. James rounded on the sound and began to shout, his brown eyes shining with tears. "WHAT! Haven't you ever seen a loser before? Why don't you just take a picture!"

Sample Roleplay Response:

Stepping out of the classroom, a great feeling of relief washed over Acuzio. Finally, classes were done for the week, and he could look forward to commentating on the quidditch match that afternoon. His headphones rested haphazardly on his noggin, only covering one ear.

Once he dropped his school bag off at the dorm, he made his way to the Quidditch pitch early. He took his time setting up to comment on the game play-by-play, and slowly excitement wriggled itself into his features and demeanor.

~*~

The game was over, and Acuzio whooped and hollered as he returned into the cafeteria. He was a little late, since he had to take down what he set up. He had just reached for a high five from the winning team's keeper when a kid brushed past him in a hurry. Distracted, Acuzio turned to see who it was. His eyebrows rose when he noticed it was James. The poor chap had gotten butterfingers at the last second, which had given Acuzio a lot to comment about. Hastily he jogged after the bloke, but a short time after he pursued him, he found himself face to face with an upset wizard.

"Aw, come off it, James. T'aint so bad, at least you're in one piece instead of in the hospital ward." He clapped the guy on the shoulder, trying to rustle him out of his foul mood.

Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Acuzio Knightlock was born on July 4th to Callidora and Rawlins Knightlock. He was the only child they would ever bear.

Callidora's maiden name was Finn, one of the smaller, yet still pure bloodlines. It was a dying breed, and she had found out that her younger brother, Arthur, had taken a muggle as a wife and bore a daughter. She never told Acuzio about his uncle or cousin's existence. She did not want him to believe that breeding with muggles was an okay thing to do. She did not hate mudbloods, she simply thought being pureblood granted you better opportunities in life. She was more than happy to meet and wed Rawlins. Acuzio is Elizabeth Knightlock's first cousin, his father being her father's brother.

When Acuzio was only 6, his mother was killed by a critical form of brain cancer. When they finally found it, it had spread too far to fully cure. He spent the remainder of his childhood with only his father, and the two are very close.

It was impossible for Dianne to stay out of trouble. It wasn't that she was looking for trouble, it's just that trouble always managed to find her. Today she wished she could find something equally familiar but more comforting.

The five-year old girl hugged her puffskein closer to her and brushed her face in its soft fur for comfort. She had named him herself and he was always her special pet. No she was certain she had never gone down this side street before. Her anxiety increased every second as darkness fell as she walked down the road. A loud noise came to her left and she buried her face in her pet's fur completely. The scared girl bolted the opposite way slamming the both of them into the wall of the nearest building. Tottering back a few steps she found a door a few feet to her right and ran to open it. What light there was inside spilled out into the darkness and she spilled into the room.

Once in, she was caught between the impulse to curl her cloak up more tightly around her and loosen her grip on it. She wasn't alone anymore but she was now among strangers instead, which was nearly as terrifying. Her puffskein had recovered from the shock of the wall and now was purring contentedly as the girl hugged it, causing a mildly calming effect on the girl. Gathering her courage, she marched up to the nearest person, pulled on the nearest clothing hem and blurted out in a loud voice:

"I'm lost and it's dark and I wanted to know where I am but I'm not scared but I am worried that Sambundeakin is scared because he's little and needs something to eat and wants to go home."

She paused to draw a breath in her nearly never-ending sentence, "He misses my and his mommy."

To explain the scared girl held up the custard-colored puffskein. Sambundeakin the puffskein, however simply purred as if nothing on earth was wrong in the world.

Acuzio loved working with all the animals of the familiar Hogsmeade shop. He kept begging the owner for a job there, that way he could feel a bit of accomplishment as well as be somewhere he loved. He'd gave her every option, but the only one that seemed to work was volunteering. Which was fine to Zio. He didn't have anything better to do with his free time.

A particularly fiesty owlet had decided it needed to fly around the shop, just after closing time. Not only was it making Acuzio's life difficult, but it was leaving fluffy grey feathers everywhere and persisted in making loud hoots at every ten second interval. He resisted in yanking out his wand; if he used magic on the critter the shop owner would painfully murder him. If a creature is touched by a spell, usually an intelligent client could tell, and would refuse to purchase the animal, for fear of any sort of curse or manipulation. The shop owner was located in the office of the store, not particularly interested in helping Zio clean up or chase after his new pest friend.

Finally Acuzio snagged the owlet. At first it squawked in  protest,  before it snuggled into his palm, worn out from all the excitement. "That's enough from you, sir." He scolded, before he tenderly laid the puff of feathers in its cage. He stared at it, admiring the peaceful way it slept just after it wreaked major havoc. A sudden tugging at his pant leg snapped him from his thoughts, and he looked down to see a little girl.

He listened carefully, and when she was done with her little spout, he bent down and grasped her around her thighs with both arms. With a great grin upon his face, he hoisted the child up against  his chest, holding her gently. "My dear, we'll have to get him home straight away! Not a moment to lose!" With the same, silly grin on his face, he ran out of the shop, and with a few directions, ran her home as swiftly as he could carry her. With a plop upon her doorstep, and a few thankful words from her mother, the haphazard lass was safe at home again. For now.
