Biography:

There were some things in life one had to accept and for him the biggest one was he was short.  So short that most three year olds towered over his small five year old frame.  It made everyone think him a baby.  He wasn’t and he refused to be treated as such.  Even worse were the looks he saw his parents get, and they were adults.

He even saw someone pat his fathers head like a child.  His father was a Auror.  This was something he found completely unacceptable.  Naturally so did his father who reacted loudly with his face even turning red as he reacted in a anger that would not been as contained if it had been his own.  If it hadn’t been for his mother clamping her hand over his mouth and holding him back as his face turned even brighter a red than his father he was sure he’d have gotten in large trouble.

He vowed never to be treated like that.

Sure his father took offense.  However the man walked away unharmed.  If he had been in his fathers place the man would have walked away with at a minimum a limp.  Either that or he would have attained his revenge later.  Knowing his father he was certain no revenge would occur.  His father Zedric was a good man, and a Auror at that.

He had little intention of being an Auror.  He was going to become his own man.  Naturally he was always going to be short as dwarfism ran in his family, however he would be great.  With the first step of that greatness putting everyone who insulted his shortness in their place.

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:
"You!  ...Do you want to play?"

He smiled.  Most children who looked his age looked over him until he put them in their place.  However, this girl commanded authority and him to join in whatever game she was playing.  Plus she had tossed down a pathetic toy broom just as he would.

He smiled as he said “ Sure. “  Then he continued “ I don’t like play brooms either.  We’ll never be great if they handicap us with those pathetic things. “  Then he noticed that there was boy up into the air with a better broom.

Naturally he wished he had his broom from home to really join in.  Or more accurately his fathers broom which he took to fly about as he was to big to use pathetic baby brooms.  The fact his fathers broom was also shorten due the dwarfism that ran in his family was oddly acceptable, even if he didn’t like things being adjusted for him.

He said “ What do you want to play? “
