Here's my application, hope it's not too late
→ CHARACTER INFORMATION.

Sylvia Crane

Hometown:
Maisons-Laffitte (France, Ivellines)
Bloodline:
Pureblood

Biography:
Sylvia Yuna Crane comes from an old, French family. Her nuclear family, her mother, Nicole Ruchet, her father, Jack Crane, brother Nico and her weren’t always a nice view in her grandparents’ place, as for they never forgave her mother to marry a Britsh.
Nonetheless, she had been raised as a proper pureblood should be raised (lets not forget we’re in the late 20’s). She knew that purebloods were the highest rank and that mixing with muggles was inappropriate to say nicely.
She spoke two languages for as long as she remembers and was always glad she was spared the French accent while talking English (it is not overdone one bit in the movies).
It was when she was seven that the terrible thing happened. Her mother died. She had to move to her grandparents, because they ‘won’ that privilege from the Haute Justice against her father. She now only sees her brother and father during vacations, and lives in, and she hates to admit it, a good surroundings.
Her brother goes to Hogwarts and that is one of the reasons she’s not really looking forward to going to Beauxbatons, where she would have to wear a compromising uniform.

Personality:
Sylvia Crane is a very intelligent person who relies much on logic. She loves to read and draw. She wants to become an architect or move to UK and work at the Ministry as an unspeakable. She's quiet and prefers to observe and reproduce than improvise (as long as she's not writing). Her main drawbacks are her shyness with stranger and masses, and her difficult personality (thinking herself superior + not easily believing other people)
Appearance:
Sylvia Crane is a tall for her age rather slim girl (but not skinny to her disappointment). She had veeery long hair but cut it completely when her mother died (bold). It is now reaching her shoulders. She wears a sort of accessory in her hair, made of beads. She is a pretty girl, and looks like she'll be a beautiful woman. She's quite demanding though, and is never satisfied with herself. She hates putting too much make-up and always puts only eyeliner, just like her mother did, describing all women who wore visible make up "les cochons qui se croient des cignes"- pigs who believe themselves swans.

Sylvia had a really bad luck. No one has ever believed her, but she knew what was true.
It was one of the gloomy days of November and she was worrying about her Divination assignment she was going to write when she felt food fall all over her. She screamed.
"Oh! I'm so sorry!" A girl who had probably reversed the plate said. She seemed genuinely concerned, but Sylvia was in a terrible mood.
"Look what you have done! Can't you see where you're walking?!" She was furious, but as she looked at the girl she couldn't help but feel sorry for the girl who looked so much like her- lost in this place. She sighed.
"Forget it. I'm Sylvia. Sorry I yelled at you, I had a terrible day." She said as she cleaned herself with a napkin. She looked up at the girl, not sure what to do.
