I had read that, it just wasn't 100% clear on the handling of the muggleborn kids. Your answers really helped a ton though, and so thank you very much!

Welcome back Jacob!

Q. When the muggleborn children were brought back in time with the magical community, and their parents left behind, what happened with them?

A. Muggleborn children were sought out and collected, mostly by the British Ministry of Magic.

Q. How were they cared for and such?

A. Some muggleborn children were adopted by wizarding families. If they were not adopted, they were sent to orphanages such as the one established at St. Mungo's where they lived in a ward and were taken care of by the hospital.

I am an old member looking into coming back. I left pretty much immediately after the time warp, and so am not entirely sure of all the details of how some things were handled.

I am exploring a couple options for potential new characters, and in such I was just wondering; when the muggleborn children were brought back in time with the magical community, and their parents left behind, what happened with them? How were they cared for and such?
