All that Cerridwyn remembered of her past was written in a chart at St. Mungo.

Her first memory consisted of waking up in a bright, white room. Her only company at the time had been a nurse taking her vitals. Cerridwyn had asked her where she was and what she was doing here, but the nurse only looked at her sadly, shook her head, and said to her, "You poor, poor dear."

After a few days, Cerridwyn was moved into a new room in a wing that housed a bunch of children just like her; orphans. Children left without parents after a strange phenomenon in the wizarding world. Many of those children, just like her, hadn't even realized that they were members of this special community until the others were the only family they had.

Eight months later, and Cerridwyn was being ushered through Diagon Alley collecting her things for first year. Seeing as she was an orphan, she had to strictly adhere to the requirements list and nothing more. She had stopped for just a few seconds to admire the cute little kittens playing in the front window of the pet store, but was quickly escorted away and reminded that she didn't have money for a cat.

Though saddened, in a few minutes it was all water under the bridge as she was pulled away from the pet shop window and into the wand store. The magnitude of wands available at her fingertips was truly amazing. She watched mindfully as the shop owner carefully looked her over before disappearing into one of the many narrow aisles. After what seemed like hours (it had only been two minutes), the shop owner return with a wand. As she admired the craft of the wand - the woodwork, the carvings, the etchings - the man explained how each wand was unique, just like its' owner. She would never forget the feeling that surrounded her as she removed the wand from the box. Almost like a warm embrace from her...

... No. She didn't have a mother. She didn't have a father. What she felt was the wand choosing the wizard, and nothing more. But what a feeling it was, and it was a feeling that she would never forget.

Cerridwyn had spent her first several years at Hogwarts attempting to find her place in the wizarding world. With her OWLs quickly approaching, it's more important to her than ever to find out who she is and just how she will be able to contribute to this magical community.

→ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
Note: This section is optional, and is up to you to complete.

House Request: ???

Personality:

Cerridwyn is quiet and calm. She does not easily wear her heart on her sleeve. She is an orphan, and though she longs for a friend that is as close to her as a sibling she has a hard time creating a friendship with that strong of a bond. She feels the emptiness of losing her family, but due to their fading memories doesn't know where the feeling of emptiness comes from and some times lashes out as she feels a myriad of mixed emotions that she can't sort out.

Appearance:

The only sign of her mother's Irish heritage outwardly lies in Cerridwyn's red hair, though her petite frame and height also stem from her mother. All of her other feature scream her father's name and before his disappearance, many would say that she was his miniature copycat. There was no denying that she was her father's daughter.

→ SAMPLE ROLEPLAY.
Please reply to one of the Sample Roleplays below.

This morning Cerridwyn had sat in this very same spot in the Great Hall struggling with the question of whether or not she should attend today's Quidditich championship match. It really seemed as if the reining champions had it in the bag, however both teams had a few students from her St. Mungo's ward and perhaps she should show up and provide support even if she wasn't cheering for a specific team.

In hindsight, she was glad she had gone although the game seemed a little bit one-sided. All along the game was in favor of the three-year champs, and had the one chaser scored that foul shot it wouldn't have mattered who caught the snitch; they would have had the game in the bag.

The point was though that the boy had missed, and the other team caught the snitch. Finally the Quidditch Cup trophy had switched possession and that made Cerridwyn glad. It wasn't good for one house to have all the glory.

All the noise was too much for Cerridwyn, and while she was really happy for the winning team she really didn't feel obligated to stay and celebrate with them. Instead, she ate quickly and decided to head for the common room where she'd curl up with a good book or work on some homework or something. On the way there, she made a quick stop in the girls room, but was a little taken aback by the welcome she received as she step out of the bathroom door.

"WHAT! Haven't you ever seen a loser before? Why don't you just take a picture!"

It was the boy who had missed the shot. He looked as if he had been crying or something, though Cerridwyn was never good at guessing those types of things. She wasnt sure if he was looking at her or someone else though; it was hard to tell from the distance separating the two.

"Are you talking to me?" she quietly questioned. She turned to see if there was anyone else around before she turned back to the boy. She didn't see anyone else, but perhaps one of the castle ghosts were messing with him.
