Biography: (100 words minimum.)
There was a reason why the magical couple decided to give away their baby daughter, although they didn't even understand it at the time. Little Adaire was placed in the hands of the local orphanage where she received the uppermost care by one of the ladies working there, considering no one wanted the child. The woman, a very young Squib by the name of Pixie Snowdon, vowed to raise Adaire as her own. The two lived in a very modest home in the middle of Godrics Hollow, a place that Adaire grew attached to as she grew older. Pixie never regretted taking Adaire in once, for they were both happy with their lives.

Adaire does not know of her birth parents, or why they decided to give away their child. She does not know if she has any siblings or other relatives. All she has is herself and her 'mother', but that's far more than what she needs.

Roleplay:
Reply as your character to the following:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:

Adaire was fiddling around with a toy wand as she swung weakly on a swing. Occasionally, the child's blue gaze would somberly glance up at the kids flying around on broomsticks. Adaire wasn't necessarily interested in their fake Quidditch game, although it was highly amusing just to watch them try and get the Snitch.

Pixie was off to the Muggle market to buy some groceries, leaving little Adaire behind at Godric Park, the place where the woman knew she would be alright on her own. Even so, Adaire thought Pixie underestimated how she could take care of herself. Despite being nearly completely dependent, there was no saying that Adaire could protect herself. Especially with other kids around.

Suddenly, she jumped and fell off the swing as a girl practically yelled at her. Standing back up and brushing herself off, Adaire nodded slightly. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?

"Yeah, sure!"

There wasn't anything else that Adaire had better to do, so playing with Janey wasn't a big deal. Although, that broomstick would indeed be boring.
