Biography: (300 words minimum.)
As a child, Victoria had rather uneventful life, simple, childishly spent days, changed to school and onwards. Coming from a rather small family, she was didn’t meet much of the pureblood family ideologies, but as soon as she became a student in Beauxbatons, she understood the importance of blood purity and started supporting the idea, even if on the surface she still maintained rather friendly attitude towards those of not pure blood.

During her school years she met her to-be husband – Maxwell, and right after graduation the two got married. But in her school years she had found a new view of world and it wasn’t long before her and Maxwell found their own families stuck in beliefs that did not fit their own. Victoria, whose family had taken great interest in Divination for the past generations, found this magic type to be quite useless, preferring to live in the current time, not dwelling in the past nor trying to guess the future. It was another reason her attachment for her family was not so firm and she easily left it behind.

Sooner than later it came to them discarding their last name, but they didn’t have to wait long until they came in contact with Grey Reinhardt who offered them to join Reinhardt family and with that De Reaux became De Reinhardt. Along with their joining of Reinhardt family, Victoria gained the role of Director of Clan. From then on she served to do her Reinhardt duties in between her work as the French ministry international ambassadress.

On the surface it is quite difficult to tell that she’s pureblood ideology supporter as she upkeeps a public image of an accepting witch, no matter your blood status. Mainly she does so because it’s her job, which is also something she likes a lot.

It was impossible for Dianne to stay out of trouble. It wasn't that she was looking for trouble, it's just that trouble always managed to find her. Today she wished she could find something equally familiar but more comforting.

The five-year old girl hugged her puffskein closer to her and brushed her face in its soft fur for comfort. She had named him herself and he was always her special pet. No she was certain she had never gone down this side street before. Her anxiety increased every second as darkness fell as she walked down the road. A loud noise came to her left and she buried her face in her pet's fur completely. The scared girl bolted the opposite way slamming the both of them into the wall of the nearest building. Tottering back a few steps she found a door a few feet to her right and ran to open it. What light there was inside spilled out into the darkness and she spilled into the room.

Once in, she was caught between the impulse to curl her cloak up more tightly around her and loosen her grip on it. She wasn't alone anymore but she was now among strangers instead, which was nearly as terrifying. Her puffskein had recovered from the shock of the wall and now was purring contentedly as the girl hugged it, causing a mildly calming effect on the girl. Gathering her courage, she marched up to the nearest person, pulled on the nearest clothing hem and blurted out in a loud voice:

"I'm lost and it's dark and I wanted to know where I am but I'm not scared but I am worried that Sambundeakin is scared because he's little and needs something to eat and wants to go home."

She paused to draw a breath in her nearly never-ending sentence, "He misses my and his mommy."

To explain the scared girl held up the custard-colored puffskein. Sambundeakin the puffskein, however simply purred as if nothing on earth was wrong in the world.

Roleplay Response:
It was dark, but Victoria didn’t really notice the darkness of the night, her mind bright and sunny, lighting up her mood when the weather might have ruined it for some other people.  It was her night out with her husband, the brilliant man having taken her out for dinner at a nice restaurant. Surely, it was not as fancy as some might like it, but it was a special and calm place the both knew for a while now.

The night was fun and the food was brilliant, the light around them soft, but of course this magic had to be broken by her work, a sudden owl slipping inside the room and dropping a letter in her lap, causing a sigh fall over her lips. ‘’Désolé, l'amour’’ she spoke softly, leaning over to peck her husband on the lips as she picket the letter and walked out of the main room and soon reaching the back door where she could find a bit of peace to read up on the heavy parchment letter accompanied with a badge.

Her expression neutral as she read and looked over the badge, she didn’t jump as the beck door suddenly flew open and a little girl appeared. In perfect calm, even if quite surprised, Victoria hid the letter in her handbag as she listened out what the child had to say. Soft smile crossed her face as she knelt to be in one level with the little girl ‘’don’t worry, I’ll help you home, just give me your name and I’ll make sure you make it home fast and safe…’’

Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Since a very young age, Angelique was a very lonesome child, appreciating only Evangeline’s company since she was the closest to her in age. Her older brothers she only admired from afar, but rarely interacted with them, even if she had to. Not too much changed when she grew up. Still unmarried at her age and without kids of her own, she has found to be very fond of her nephew, her oldest brother’s son – Grey – whom is the only family member she gladly interacts since Evangeline’s death.

For first five years Angelique studied in Durmstrang and she found herself fascinated by wandlore and dark arts as subjects, giving them more of her attention and in time becoming a skilled duelist whilst still at Durmstrang. As the sixth year came, she transferred to Hogwarts and got sorted into Slytherin, her interest never wavering from wandlore.

Upon graduating from Hogwarts, she moved to Russia where she worked in a small wand shop, finding liking for the local wands that could cast more powerful dark magic. While working there also learned Russian.
After a few years in Russia, she finally returned to United Kingdom and bought a storefront in Knockturn Alley, creating The Velvet box, selling wands made after those she had worked with in Russia. But it was though competition, so she soon turned to offering custom accessories for wands, repairing wands and selling her work for a lower price than other wand shops. Creating this shop also strengthened her bond with Grey, who was first to buy a wand made by her.

Due to her shady shop with strong dark magic wands along with her reputation, Angelique has been a suspect of several missing person crimes, but never convicted. Those were the rumors that brought it up to her - that she turns people into rats and feeds them to her pet falcon. In reality she actually is unable to do that, but it keeps people away from annoying her, so she doesn’t approve nor deny them.

Despite her lack of bonding with the rest of the family, she tends to work as the socialite face of Reinhardt family when Grey asks her to represent their family in high class events.

Exceptional Characters

Characters wishing to be an auror, healer, or other character with more than the usual 32 magic levels should reply to the following RP scenario, not the usual one (above):

Mr. Grunch smirked as stepped into the shadows beneath the overhanging eaves at the side of the street. There was a sort of alcove here, where two buildings came together, and the wall was set back just a couple of feet to make space for a drain from the battered lead guttering. It made it difficult to see if anyone was standing there until you were almost on top of it, and the shape of the roof up above cast an almost permanent shadow even then.

There were a number of such places along Knockturn Alley and Mr. Grunch knew them all.

Seeing nobody was nearby, he quickly cast the concealment spell that would obscure his features, making him unrecognisable, just a blur beneath the cowl of his thick, but worn, robes. He knew his target, had identified them some time before, as they entered the Alley. He had shadowed them, discretely, and now, he knew, they were heading back out again, towards the safety of the better lit Diagon Alley.

He heard the footsteps approaching. This was it, then. Just before they reached the alcove, he stepped out suddenly in front of his target, wand raised and ready.

"Give me all yer galleons, and any jewellery yer got! Don't try to hide nothin', 'cos I'll know, right? Do it now!"

Roleplay Response:
Angelique locked up The Velvet Box in Knockturn as the day was coming to an end. It was a slow day, so she had no worry she might be locking out possible clients. Instead she decided to drop by at the bank in Diagon Alley to pick up some money from her vault and head out to do a bit of shopping. She was running short on Doxy Wings.

Dark green cloak over her shoulders, she walked out in the busy street of Diagon Alley when she realized she had forgotten the key to her vault. A small curse falling over her lips, she turned back and returned to her shop, but as she walked down the Alley, she was overwhelmed by the feeling someone was watching her. Sure, it was nothing all too unusual for Knockturn Alley, but never had it felt this way for more than few minutes whilst right now it was clear someone had watched her since she entered Knockturn Alley before.

Her long fingers slowly and carefully wrapping around her wand, she kept walking, counting numbers in her mind, creating misleading impression she wasn’t aware of this person in the shadows. As soon as a cloaked man stepped out in front of her, demanding all her riches, she shot him a smirk, pulling her want out in a swift motion and aiming it at the thief called ‘’Expelliarmus!’’ in the same time aiming a kick to their knee. Having disarmed the thief she didn’t stop, just catching their wand before looking back at the unlucky man who still tried to attack her ‘’ Stupefy’’ she lazily cast.

As her attacker was stunned, she just leaned close to him, pocketing his wand while pressing her own against his cheek ‘’wrong choice, darling~’’ she whispered before casting Incarcerous and tying the thief up.

Before leaving, she added, not even sure if the stupefied wizard would even hear her ‘’next time, I won’t go so easy on you’’

SHOPKEEPER QUESTIONS
Answer these questions only if you are applying to be a shopkeeper as well.

Shop name: The Velvet Box
Shop Description (200 words minimum): Angelique is a unique wandmaker around Brittan, she specializes in creating wands from uncommon and rare techniques and prefers to use wood and core types from the more exotic parts of the world, like Basilisk skin core and Sequoia. You wouldn't be able to find a basic wand in her store; her wands are very custom and desired by those who prefer a more unique wand. But along with unique wands you will also find accessories such as canes to fit your wand. Looking for someone to make you a unique accessory? It’s all about time and pay in which you’d like to fit the making of it and she’ll make you the desired item. The Velvet Box also offers engravings to wands.
But that’s not it. If you don’t wish to purchase a new wand or accessories, the shop also offers wand repairs, care and maintenance, may it be a new wand or a historical one. After work will be done, the wand will look as brand new and will be fit to cast quality spells for years to come.
Best part? It doesn’t matter how you lost your wand or damaged it. In The Velvet Box no questions are asked, creating complete privacy of customers.
--
The shop you will find is a dark two-story building in the middle on Knockturn Alley with only simple trinkets in the display. Front room is stocked with shelves of wands in boxes and door to the back room. The back room is room for special clients. Second floor is off-limits and her personal space and also workshop where she works on her stock.

What purpose will this shop serve other than selling things and being the home of your character? Why would people want to RP there just for fun?
The Velvet Box offers a more discreet and new experience to finding the right wand for the right buyer, Angelique has a very strong reputation amongst the more shady wizards and witches in Knockturn alley. Her more custom 'wand enhancements' (carvings and such) give her store an extra RP opportunity.

Unlike most shops where the opportunity to try new wand is very limited, The Velvet Box occasionally offers tutoring of new students in the back room, if parents wish to pay for it. The tutoring is in any field of magic. Any.
In the back room you will find enchanted dummy for practice purposes.

Witches and Wizards of all ages, not just new students with the purchase of their first wand from this shop, may desire a more discreet location to test wands that defy the more traditional purposes.
