Name: Wyatt Alan McCormick

Birthday: 30 November

Hometown: McCormick Croft, just outside of Godric's Hollow

Bloodline: Halfblood

Magical Strength (pick one): Conjuring & Summoning

Magical Weakness (pick one): Charms

Year (pick two): First or Second!

Biography:
You know his family.  You know the love they share amongst eachother.  You know the moments they've laughed together, the moments they've cried, when they've argued, when they've joined hands and committed to being strong together.

And you know Wyatt, truly.  Wyatt Alan McCormick.  It's never been a mystery.  How could Wyatt have been a mystery, when he's squeezed tightly to his mum's hand for as long as he can remember, clung to the legs of his brothers, been cared for by Lily and teased by Cherry?  When he's been swung around and around their home, letting out peals of laughter to make the smiles of his family and friends that much bigger?  When his imagination has made him jump through whole worlds and brought him across dimensions on adventures dangerous and thrilling, and when he's wanted to share those worlds with all the people he loves?

Wyatt has always been a sweet, clingy, playful child.  Shy at first to strangers, Wyatt warms up quickly, always willing to be pulled into a game or an adventure.  While his siblings have one after another gone off to school, Wyatt has made a great game of keeping himself entertained at home to make sure he wouldn't bother his mum.  He's sought out conquering dragons in the treehouse, watched armies march in the raindrops on windows, and solved heinous crimes with his stuffed animals.

The picture in Wyatt's world is constantly bright:  full of whales flying in the sky, golden clouds, mirrored horizons on water.  He collects information from the stories everyone around him tells, from books, from experiencing the world at large.  That collection thrills Wyatt every day, building up a sweet child who views the world in a positive lens, hopeful for how much change and knowledge could be right outside the door, just waiting for him to take the leap.

→ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
Note: This section is optional, and is up to you to complete.

House Request: Ravenclaw

Personality:

Wyatt is a sweet, good natured child.  He rarely shows signs of temper, having instead chosen to be passive behind the passionate emotion of his siblings.  He doesn't mean to seek trouble, always wants to behave, but it's hard not to get caught in trouble when his curiosity makes him veer off into the unknown all the time.  Wyatt is imaginative, creative, enthusiastic, and kind.  He's not afraid of much and follows in the footsteps of his siblings by being the first to leap into an activity.  On bad days, Wyatt is more quiet and introspective, prone to feeling sad over feeling angry.  But a quiet Wyatt isn't necessarily a bad thing.  Most days he's quietly intense with his daydreaming and writing.

Appearance:

Wyatt is average height, average build, with light brown hair that has a slight wave to it, and more brown than green hazel eyes, with the green showing in vivid sunlight.

Option 2:

That rat of his was in for it now.

The gray little rascal had disappeared from his clutches at breakfast. Again.

Before Hugh even knew what was happening, Merlin had shot across the floor, somehow managing to avoid all the feet walking across the hall and had escaped through the open doors.

Which meant that Hugh was now stomping through rows of flowers and other various flora, searching for the small creature. It was like the rat knew Hugh was allergic to most flowers. Merlin always chose to run to the gardens whenever he got away from Hugh. It was as if the rat did not want to have him for an owner.

Hugh had named his pet Merlin because he had hoped the powerful name would give the rat more incentive to be more than a rat. Not that he expected Merlin to change into a wizard or anything, but rats were just so...useless, for the most part. With a name like Merlin, Hugh thought it might give the rat purpose.

The only purpose Merlin seemed to have was getting away from Hugh as often as possible.

As the fifth year trudged into the second row of flowers, not taking much care to avoid trampling the first row, he felt the first sneeze building up pressure in his nose and behind his eyes.

"You blasted rat! Where are you?"

He pulled apart a section of bright red flowers; he didn't know what they were called because he despised flowers, and ducked his head low to peer into the depths of the flowerbed. It was moving closer in proximity to the flowers that finally did it. Hugh took in three great breaths and then let out an almighty sneeze. It was strong enough to disturb some of the dirt on the ground before him.

Groaning, he stood up again and wiped his nose on his sleeve. It was as he was turning his head, his nose running up and down his arm, that movement in his peripheral vision caught his attention. Normally one who preferred to put his best face forward, Hugh was a bit embarrassed to be caught wiping his runny nose on his robes.

Nevertheless, Hugh put on his best haughty voice. albeit a bit thickly with his plugged nose and said, "Can I help you with something? It is not polite to stare."

Roleplay Response:

The dragonette was in for it now.

And by in for it, not only did Wyatt mean dragon hunting and a dangerous quest to vanquish the terrible beast that guarded its carpeted tower jealously, but also to bombard the dragonette with vicious torture in the form of endless petting and scrutiny.

The dragonette was his golden orange and red kitten perched atop a garden bench, grooming herself like a queen.

"And there she sits, glorious in her radiance, the maiden crowned in gold, Galadriel."

Wyatt McCormick laid on his stomach inside one of the flower beds, trying his best not to crush the hydrangeas.  (Unfortunately, a few needed to be sacrificed for the greater good.)  Light brown hair shook free from green-brown eyes that gazed up adoringly at his elegant pet.  He still couldn't believe he had found such a beautiful familiar--or vicious beast to conduct battle with, depending on the stories he was inventing that day--just that past summer.  She was still tiny and petite no matter how much time passed too.  Just like the immortal elf that was her namesake, from a Muggle book series he'd become obsessed with.

Wyatt kept his chin propped in his palms and kicked his feet absently.  (Whoops, there go the dahlia flowers.)  There was a lot to think about these days.  What classes he was taking.  His latest assignments.  More importantly, what nooks and crannies there were to discover in the school.  He'd stubbornly plugged his ears against any tips, tricks, and strategies from his siblings.  No, no, no, Wyatt Alan McCormick wanted to discover Hogwarts' secrets for himself!  (Though, perhaps, should his royal council a.k.a. his family wish to offer sagely wisdom to give him a speed advantage above his peers, then he might acquiesce.)  But that still meant organizing his time so he could still luxuriate in beaming praise for a job well done in his classes, while conducting the next exploration for his proposed storyworld.  A squint around the gardens made his mind consider mazes that grew thirty feet over a person's head, or flowers that ate people, or roots and vines that dragged its victims below their fertilized depths...

A massive sneeze broke his thoughts.

Wyatt jerked.  The sneeze made Galadriel startle as well.  The tiny bit of fur stood up as tall as she could (all of six inches, to be told), tail puffing out like a cotton ball, and let out a yowl.  "Galadriel!" Wyatt whispered, and beckoned his dragonette towards him protectively.

Movement caught Wyatt's attention.  A boy was wiping his nose.  Was that a dirt cloud around him too?  Wyatt just managed to scoot the crawling Galadriel into the crook of his arm--to which she meowed a protest to the dirt and mulch he'd just scooped around them--when the boy spoke to him.

"Can I help you with something?  It is not polite to stare."

Wyatt jerked again.  Dimly, he realized he was staring, like a deer or more accurately a silly looking owl with a kitten wrapped in its wings.  Wyatt raised onto his knees, holding his cat and bits of falling dirt, making himself known above his own flower bed.

"Umm!  I, uhh, well--"  He floundered for a second, pulled out of his daydream into reality when faced with a haughty, somewhat thick, voice.  "No!  I mean, yes, err--umm!  Bless you, I mean!"

(Manners first, after all.)

Wyatt scrambled to rearrange Galadriel in his arms as he threw a sheepish smile at the boy.  "Are you alright?" he asked.  "It sounded like you might have sneezed out an organ!"

(And imaginative exaggerations second.)
