Biography: (100 words minimum.)When Apollo was born she wasn't born alone. She was born with an unbreakable bond to another, her sister Artemis. Her family was a different kind of wizarding brood, having ties to both the wizarding world and muggle one. Her father even took part in muggle government in their city at times. Gaining wealth in both worlds was not an easy task though, so sadly her father was gone over half the time. Travelling to Britain to meet with different wizarding politicians, etc.
Being a twin certainly had its upsides. Wherever Artemis failed, Apollo excelled. Wherever Apollo failed, Artemis excelled. Two peas in a pod. Their mother has tried on multiple occasions to bring them up to be ladies, but the sense of adventure that overtakes them both is certainly frowned upon. Artemis would rather trade in her dress for a pair of jeans any day.
Roleplay:Reply as your character to the following:Godric Park.
Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.
Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.
It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.
"John, I said
wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.
Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.
Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby. "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.
"...Do you want to play?"
Roleplay Response:What a wonderful day. The sun was shining, seemingly giving her more energy. She had always loved the sun. It was as if the name she had been given was fate.
Wondering off from her mother wasn't something that was new. It was something to be expected, but luckily for her mom Apollo always seemed to find a park. This park was different from the one she played at back home. The one back home had swing sets and monkey bars.
"What a weird park." She stated to herself. It was the first time she had ever been to a park in the wizarding world. Most of her time was spent in the muggle one.. He parents very seldom brought the kids to wizarding places. Apparently since they'd be going off to school to live seven years in the wizarding world, they needed to know what the other one was like also.
Just to make fair judgements.
"You!"
Jumping a little bit, Apollo turned around with a furrowed brow. "Excuse you?" She stated with her hands on her hips. She could be sassy when she needed to be.
"...Do you want to play?"
A little taken aback, Apollo broke into a smile. "Sure!" She stated. She didn't know what the girl had in mind, but it had better be fun.
