→ CHARACTER INFORMATION.

Name:
Keziah Izolda Zsofka

Birthday:
15 November 1954

Hometown:
Budapest, Hungary

Bloodline:
Pureblood

Magical Strength (pick one):
Conjuring & Summoning

Magical Weakness (pick one):
Transfiguration

Year (pick two):
First Year or Second Year

Biography:
Keziah Izolda Zsofka was born on November 15, 1954 to Sandor and Zailey Zsofka in Budapest, Hungary during a time when the country was in a state of war. Her father, Sandor, worked in a muggle factory making ammunitions until he was killed shortly after her second birthday. It was at this time that Zailey relocated herself and Keziah to London, England in the former residence of her now deceased twin, Zander.

Most of Keziah's childhood was as normal as possible despite the lack of a paternal parental figure; where Keziah held the advantage was growing up in a magical home that enabled her to learn long before she was set to attend Hogwarts. Despite the difficulties that they often faced in making ends meet, Zailey eventually did find stable employment that provided a comfortable life for both her and her daughter.

Keziah eventually fell in with a group of girls and boys, magical, where she now spends most of her days roaming the various streets of Diagon Alley. To say the terrorize the district would be fairly accurate as they practice their fledging magical prowess. The youngster is very excited about attending the school of her mother and checks every day for the letter that will change everything.

→ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

House Request:
None

Personality:
Keziah would best be described as aloof. Once befriended, Keziah is fiercely loyal and would willingly go down for any of her small circle of friends. An excellent student, she enjoys having her nose buried in a book just as much as she enjoys terrorizing the streets of Diagon Alley with her "gang" of friends. She hopes to be sorted into Slytherin as her mother was before her and is terrified she will be sorted into Hufflepuff.

Appearance:
Keziah, like her mother, is tall for her age. At 11 she still has much of her childhood pudge but doesn't concern herself with the contents of what she puts into her body. She wears her long light brunette hair loose at all times and has the familiar blue-green gaze of her mother. The only feature she acquired from her father being the squat and wide nose that runs in his family. Oftentimes she can be found barefoot, only wearing shoes when it is required of her.

Option 2:

That rat of his was in for it now.

The gray little rascal had disappeared from his clutches at breakfast. Again.

Before Hugh even knew what was happening, Merlin had shot across the floor, somehow managing to avoid all the feet walking across the hall and had escaped through the open doors.

Which meant that Hugh was now stomping through rows of flowers and other various flora, searching for the small creature. It was like the rat knew Hugh was allergic to most flowers. Merlin always chose to run to the gardens whenever he got away from Hugh. It was as if the rat did not want to have him for an owner.

Hugh had named his pet Merlin because he had hoped the powerful name would give the rat more incentive to be more than a rat. Not that he expected Merlin to change into a wizard or anything, but rats were just so...useless, for the most part. With a name like Merlin, Hugh thought it might give the rat purpose.

The only purpose Merlin seemed to have was getting away from Hugh as often as possible.

As the fifth year trudged into the second row of flowers, not taking much care to avoid trampling the first row, he felt the first sneeze building up pressure in his nose and behind his eyes.

"You blasted rat! Where are you?"

He pulled apart a section of bright red flowers; he didn't know what they were called because he despised flowers, and ducked his head low to peer into the depths of the flowerbed. It was moving closer in proximity to the flowers that finally did it. Hugh took in three great breaths and then let out an almighty sneeze. It was strong enough to disturb some of the dirt on the ground before him.

Groaning, he stood up again and wiped his nose on his sleeve. It was as he was turning his head, his nose running up and down his arm, that movement in his peripheral vision caught his attention. Normally one who preferred to put his best face forward, Hugh was a bit embarrassed to be caught wiping his runny nose on his robes.

Nevertheless, Hugh put on his best haughty voice. albeit a bit thickly with his plugged nose and said, "Can I help you with something? It is not polite to stare."

Roleplay Response:
Keziah had been nose-deep in her book, having chosen to consume written words as opposed to actual food for breakfast. It was not an uncommon thing for the young girl as she rapidly devoured every book she could get her hands on. Her mother had always relayed the message that knowledge was power; Keziah was only just beginning to agree. However, no sooner had she taken a seat beside the field of flowers a maniacal young man had come roaring through. Pulling on flowers as he yelled-and sneezed-for his "blasted rat".

Curiously she watched, taken aback as his sights landed on her and she became his newest victim. Her eyes widened."It's also not polite to ruin people's gardens--" she quipped back, taking herself by surprise. "--while looking for your rat." Carefully she shut her book and scrambled to her feet. Fight or flight, she reminded herself.

Her mother had taught her everything she knew; Sandor, her father, had passed away when she was two. The woman had never taught her how to fight. Keziah figured she was scrappy enough and she may be able to hold her own for a few minutes. If not, she knew how to wash blood from fabric. This was not her first rodeo. She posed, tense, waiting for him to react.

Roleplay:
Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:
Keziah didn't mind the warmer weather but her heart really preferred the familiarity of winter; nothing could compare to the way the water turned into wands upon the eaves of shops and the feeling of snow in one's hands as it melted back to its original form. There was something about the crispness of the air and the warmth of the sun upon your face as you stood amongst the frigid snow. She craved it and was lost deep in her thoughts of winter as she heard the sharp words projected in her direction.

Carefully she looked beside her, to be sure that the young girl was addressing her, before she slowly began to shake her head. Her brown tresses winding back and forth around her shoulders as she addressed the unfamiliar girl. "I'd rather not." Carefully she bit the inside of her lower lip, green eyes watching her intently as she awaited a poor reaction. It wasn't that she held anything against her, Keziah just had somewhere to be.

Too long had she been caught up in Godric Park and her friend's were undoubtedly annoyed that she lingered too long once again. They were finicky in their own way but Keziah loved them nonetheless. Thick as thieves she had heard her mother remark once. It didn't make sense to her now. Perhaps one day it would. She gave a half-hearted attempt at a smile before she apologized, quickly, to the girl and continued on her way.

Kosova was going to be furious she was late again.
