Your application looks great! I just have one small question about Coco and Luca. The time warp was a year and a half ago, where have they lived since then? In an orphanage? Foster home?

Please clarify this and repost the application in this thread, and we'll be happy to look it again.

As for what to do with Luca when Coco starts at Beauxbatons, it is quite likely that he could get transferred to a wizarding orphanage near Beauxbatons, and it might then be possible for Coco to get permission to visit him during term. As he is only 9, he will naturally not be allowed to start school yet, but there is also the option of them both getting adopted into another wizarding family at some point. That is all up to you!

Please also be aware that according to the site rules all appearances such as hair, skin and eye colour must be kept in natural colours. There is nothing to say that Dewdrops, when she is skilled enough at transfiguration, might try to transfigure her hair green for a shorter period of time! (Just be aware that she might get in trouble with her professors for doing so as the school rules at Beauxbatons don't permit unnatural hair colour.)

Your roleplay response is looking great - but it's very dialogue dense. Could you please try to describe more of Dewdrop's thoughts and actions? You could for example try to explain how the girls' comment not to mind Hilary made her feel, or what she felt when the food was dropped on her. This both makes your posts more interesting for the reader, and it also helps us to really begin to understand your character which is necessary when sorting her

In your roleplay response you are also mentioning that Dewdrops is seeing Hilary's aura. Seeing someone's aura requires some preparation as well as for Dewdrops to be holding her wand, and it is unlikely that younger students can see more than just a grey outline or bright colours in an aura - the strong emotion.
However, it could very well be that she has used her danger sense instead, and has had a vague idea that something is going to happen, or a feeling that she needs to take care of something. For further information about  how to use divination in our universe, please see the magical rules.

Hello Amber!

Thank you for taking the time to address the issues Ophelie pointed out. Before we can proceed with your application, there's just a few more things to address.

What Ophelie meant when she asked for a bit more detail in Amber's biography, was details about Amber as a person. It is nice to know when she started school and when she learned to talk, but what is she like as a person? Does she have any siblings? What's her relationship with her parents? Is she generally a happy person? Does she have many friends? What does she like to do in her free time? Things like that lets the reader know more about Amber's person and that makes reading about her much more interesting!

What were partner projects about anyway?

Simon wasn't a loner, but he loathed any type of assignment that required him to team up with anyone. In his book, the only truly trustworthy student was himself. So naturally, when he'd been instructed to team of with a classmate and turn in a research report on the Muggle-American Civil War, Simon had been rather disappointed.

The library that afternoon was deserted aside from Simon and his partner. Before them lay a plethora of textbooks. Wars: Old and New by Kevin Torvalt. When You Say Civil... by Emma Jean. Each book was old and worn even more than the last. In a way, it was almost impressive that the books had lasted this long and still been put to such good use. Simon figured that there weren't many things for which that could be said.

Simon leafed through a copy of Understanding America by Harvey Wires, sighing heavily as each page flipped over on top of itself. He wondered what the student next to him was thinking. He was thinking that this was a drag. These books were probably boring beyond belief, despite their interesting appearance. The library was stuffy from the heat outside. Finally growing too bored from the text, Simon slammed the book shut and sat upright.

"How about I write the essay and stuff? You can just put your name on it. Sound good?"

Imagine you come across this post on the board, and write a reply to that. What will Amber do? How will she react? What does she think?

Also, please remember to add the detail about her bloodline (Muggleborn, Halfblood, Pureblood or Unknown) as well as picking Amber's magical strength and weakness, so we can put those details on her profile for you!

Hi Stefan,

You application looks great!

Before we can accept it, though, there's just one thing I would like to ask of you. You write a lot about Stefan's parents in his biography and that is really good, but I'm curious about what Stefan is actually like? What does he think about what is happening between his parents? What is his relationship with them? And what does he feel about his mother disappearing so suddenly, and also about his father's very hard 'get over it'? Does he accept things easily, or is he sad or angry?
