Muggle Characters?

Are muggle characters with a tie to the Wizarding world (e.g. married to a witch/wizard, parent to a muggleborn) allowed?

Someone else could correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the closest we've had to a Muggle character were Squibs.

Especially since the Time Warp left so many Muggles behind, it'd be difficult to play one that has an established past. My suggestion would be to PM an Admin and ask them directly. Tell them what your character idea was, and see what they think.
