CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character name: Daniella Forster

Previous and/or Current Character(s) if applicable: None.

Character age: 38

Character education: Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Strength and weaknesses: Daniella is a very observant person. She watches people closely before she makes introductions or talks to them. This, however, isn't a very good skill seeing as she is also impatient. The girl will often stop her observations and approach the person head on. She is very smart and will hardly get anything all. Because of this, she acts like a know-it-all.

Physical description: Daniella is a 5"9 and has an athletic build. She has an oval face with dark brown eyes and red, full lips. Her hair is dark brown and flows to her upper back. It is naturally wavy and easy to control. Daniella has a tan complexion.

She usually wears very appropriate outfits. This including, pencil skirts, a white blouse, greg stockings and black Gucci heels.

For a casual day, she would wear skinny jeans and sweaters (when cold) or tight fitting shirts (when warm). Along with that, she may wear flats, boots, or heels depending on the outfit.

Personality (nice, rude, funny etc. Paragraph please.) Daniella is a naturally kind person. However, she has times when her real self shows beneath the façade. She likes to show off her wits to people (especially those younger) and this makes her annoying at times. Daniella is also a flirt who can hopelessly fall for any handsome man that crosses her path. She will usually flirt with the man in a way that she keeps her distance and then she will determine whether or not she likes the man. Daniella could also be classified as snappy. When angry, she will lash out at random people.

Hopes and dreams. Why are you teaching at Hogwarts?: Daniella hopes to work in the Ministry (but teaching will have to do for now). Working at Hogwarts was a dream when she was younger. She often decided that working as a professor would give a good income and that was good.

Biography (500 words minimum. There is never such a thing as too much.): It was November 26th when Daniella was born. The day was dark and pouring with rain as it hit the window of the hospital room.

Rachel Simmons-Forster held her hand in her husband's while she cradled the newly born child in her arms.

She was so small. With a dark mess of hair atop her head and her eyes shut as she breathed in and out in a deep sleep.

---

The three-year-old Daniella Forster stumbled into the living room. Her hair was put into a messy pony-tail as she ran towards her father who was reading the latest news on the Appleby Arrows.

"Dada." Daniella cooed rubbing her head against the man's leg.

He peered over his newspaper at his daughter and folded it up. Daniel placed it on the coffee table and picked up his daughter.

"Hey Dani. Want to learn about quidditch?"

Quidditch?, thought the toddler as she snuggled up on her father's lap. As the newspaper came up her fingers traced a moving picture with giggles escaping her lips.

"You're going to do great things Dani!" Mr. Forster smiled.

---

The day was the exact opposite of what Daniella had expected a day likes this was supposed to be. The seven-year-old girl held a few flowers in her hand which contrasted against her dark clothing.

Her father's casket was raised by a few men as they walked down towards the graveyard. Tears clouded up Daniella's vision. Her father. Dead. The words didn't fit together. It felt so surreal.

Her mother's hand squeezed her shoulder with comfort, but no matter what her mother did, it couldn't take away the pain she felt in her heart at the sight of the man she had loved being dug up. She wanted to run away, but she couldn't run away from the past. It would always come back to haunt her.

----

"Congratulations!" Rachel cheered as Daniella stepped off the train.

She had just finished Hogwarts. It was a big step into the rest of her life and she planned to live it to the fullest. Now that she didn't have to worry about NEWTs, however, she didn't know what to do with her time.

"Next stop Ministry." she smiled thinking that it would be the perfect place to get a job. The money probably wasn't half bad either.

"First," her mother said planting a kiss on her cheek. "Home. You need some rest."

Dani felt the lost days of sleep catching up with her as she stretched her arms and let out a yawn. Her mother patted her back nodding.

"I was right!" she laughed.

ROLEPLAYING
(Please respond to to this in third person past tense. Do not write the other characters' reactions. Only your own.)

The Headmaster of Hogwarts was typically a firm, but reasonable man in most regards. His years as an educator had taught him no small amount of tolerance and patience in dealing with the turbulent teenage years of the most hot-headed, rebellious witch or wizard to grace the castle halls. He was quite scholarly and knowledgeable, albeit a bit eccentric on surface appearances, and his laid back manner usually had an effect on even the most savage beast… err student. In fact, for all intents and purposes, he was the voice of reason in a sea of calamity.

…Except in one very particular regard.

Today was the day he was scheduled to hold conference with the new professor who had just been hired. Normally, such trivial things like appointments didn’'t hold much sway over his daily activities as he marched to his own drummer - sometimes literally when the house elves were feeling musically inclined. However, nothing delighted him more than to engage in conversation with a fellow educator, espousing the virtues of their shared profession along with the rewards of learning in general. And in preparation for a most delightful chat, the tea tray had been polished to glistening radiance while a separate pot of his own beloved kaffe was set off to the side.

To top things off, as no detail was left unattended thanks to his ever faithful caretakers, all sorts of tasty treats had been arranged to curb the hunger of even the most finicky of faculty members. The centerpiece to all of this was a bowl of scrumptious, salty licorice treats to which the Norseman had been looking forward all throughout the morning.

Alas, as luck would have it, just before the start of the meeting Einar had been called away from the office due to reports of excessive owl droppings being sighted in the corridors. It had been a dreadful mess to square away, causing his return to be delayed. Yet upon his arrival, he stepped into the room with a smile to offer his greetings and apologies when suddenly it caught his notice that things were entirely amiss upon his desk. Someone had started the festivities without him!

His glance straying back and forth between the empty bowl and his new employee, a dark scowl is visible on his features as he asks, “"First, it was McStingy and now this! What in the name of Odin happened to my lakrits?"”

By the expression on his features, it is quite clear who he suspects to be the culprit of this dastardly crime. After all, who doesn'’t like salty licorice?

So… how exactly does one handle an irate Headmaster?

Roleplaying Response: Charms Professor was hardly something Daniella was hoping for. In fact, the thirty-eight-year-old wanted nothing more than the work in the Ministry than go back to the dreaded school she had been enrolled in once upon a time. She was least looking forward to the prospect of teaching a bunch of teenagers who probably believed that everything they did was correct and that she was an idiot. Daniella would not have that.

What made the whole thing even worse was that she would have to go to a conference with her soon-to-be boss. A frown had immediately planted on her face once she heard the news.

Her mother on the other hand was overjoyed that her daughter was leaving to go get a real job. It was as if her two week period at McDonalds wasn't enough for her.

She rubbed her temples as she walked briskly down the corridor. Under her arm was a few papers that she would show to the Headmaster hoping that it would be enough to assure her a good five years and possibly less. The day was pleasant outside, not that it changed anything about the dim lighting in the corridors.

"Some things never change." she said looking around at the castle. It hadn't changed in fifteen years. The old, broken, and dull surroundings didn't add on to her mood in a good way.

Once she arrived outside to the office, she brought her fist up and knocked three times before placing it at her side and awaiting someone to open.

Nobody came.

"How punctual." she said sarcastically looking at her watch. 1:30 PM. That was the time she was supposed to be at the office, yet, her own boss wasn't. She brought her fist up again to knock, before she could a small lady opened it with nimble fingers and led her in without a word.

Daniella maintained a cool face. The usually-happy girl was very angry that the Headmaster himself hadn't opened the door, but she could let it slide.

She slipped into a seat and looked at her settings. A table of treats were laid out. Daniella wouldn't eat much. She knew she couldn't impose and she knew she had to watch her perfect weight and not let it rocket higher.

Before she could finish the list of why she wanted to not eat, the small lady ran inside followed by a man (supposedly her husband) and they began stuffing their faces with food.

The look of disgust on Daniella's face was recognizable as a look of disappointment as well. Five minutes later, the two had sped off with food in their mouths and hands and a few, on the floor.

The door creaked open, and the Headmaster walked in. It was about time, but Daniella couldn't help thinking that his timing was off.

His question astonished her. She had done it? Never.

"Maybe you can you explain?" Daniella responded with a question of her own as astonishment found it's way to her face.
