Biography:
Marquis Beauchamp  was a man of a proud upbringing.  The younger son of Laurent and Promethia Beauchamp, Marquis and Mathieu were always taught excellent manners, conduct, and a sense of honor.  For whatever reason, despite the best efforts of the previous generation, their sons failed to learn the same teachings.

Mathieu's oldest son's betrayal was old news - having a child with a muggle girl even before he finished his schooling at Beauxbatons.   Rumors of the second son, Landon, had yet to reach the ears of either of his parents, much less his Aunt and Uncle, but at Beauxbatons they were circling.  But this was still gentle compared to the behavior of Zachary.

His life was something that he took full control over, to say the least.  Zachary did what he wanted, when he wanted.  And he didn't give a damn who was in the way.

Whereas his father showed his passion by immigrating to America to study Magical Law and work under some of the most prestigious Salem professors, Zachary showed his by punching the lights out of people who pissed him off.  While his sisters, all four of them, all older, were always smiling and giggling with each other throughout the day, Zachary was cold and said little to anyone, much less his family.  While his mother had been the top of her class, a politician's daughter, the granddaughter of one of the past ministers of magic for the United States, there was little room for Zachary to care less about his studies.

Generally quiet, Zachary is thin, dark haired, and tends to have a scowl on his face.  What he does say is either apathetic or downright insensitive.  His parents try hard to keep him in check, but everything has failed.  He has a tendency to sock people he doesn't like, and a mouth a sailor would be ashamed of.

The youngest, and only male, of five children, he tends to have as little to do with his four sisters as he can.  The youngest, Elizabeth, graduated only last term.  The oldest, Margaret, is off and married to some benchwarmer Quidditch player, the name of whom he'd honestly never been able to remember.  Not that he'd given it much effort.

At the moment, Zachary's life was easy.  His parents' last attempt to reform him was over, leaving them scrambling over new ideas.  He had a girl he liked to snog, and teachers that he could pull the wool over easily.

Life was good.
