Biography: (300 words minimum.)The second born son of the Veronese Casuso clan, Raff took full advantage of his position in life. And why wouldn’t he? It was less responsibility, and infinitely more fun. At Hogwarts he found that schoolwork was natural to him, and preferred to occupy his time with girls, sports, and his friends. For some reason, his father assumed this laidback lifestyle would end when his son graduated. It did not. Instead, Raff became a lawyer, making obscene money off of people who could afford to pay him and forcing the ministry to pay massive settlements when people felt wronged. He is currently a junior partner at Flaherty, Ransom, and Snyder, living the easy life and blowing off his fathers “courting” nonsense for as long as he can.
And despite all this, Raff understands his position. He is his brothers right hand, and will remain so when he takes over the family. He is also the sympathetic ear when Alessio can be a bit harsh, and the family lawyer, the one who gets the owl when someone has a question about a contract, got their broom stolen, whatever. He takes this role seriously, despite any other misgivings he might have about the family.
A bit of the black sheep of the Veronese dynasty, proven by him being the only one not an Auror or Healer, Raff briefly dated the daughter of a member of the Wizengamot before his father found out and demanded it end, leaving Raff somewhat bitter.
Moving into a modest flat in Kensington, Raff spends most of his off time with a group of other young men with influential families, going out in search of wine, women, and song

She was dedicated and eager to cut to the very middle of the current political tensions because she was Amelia Nixon and her articles would most certainly become front page material.
“Sir, please! It’s for the Prophet, how do you feel-“
Another one brushed passed her, the shuffling busy masses making their way through Diagon Alley for the lunchtime rush. This had been the best possible time to get people, but none of them were giving her anything to go with.
Only momentarily discouraged, the short red headed lady took a seat on a nearby bench. Her quill resting in her left hand and her notepad ready in the opposite hand. Amelia pouted, tapping the quill against her leg as she scanned the waves of people for somebody - anybody - who looked like they had something to say.
She had been dreaming of her name in bold print, Amelia Nixon: The Source of Today’s Tomorrow. She had been dreaming of the larger office and the secretaries that would fetch her the morning coffee and fetch her anything she needed. The VIP interviews and the most exclusive press passes. But all Amelia had was a page seventeen piece on the rising number of frogs in London.
Hardened by a day of no success, the reporter stood up and started to trod off down the alley. A loose stone on the cobble path caught her heel, sending the distraught girl toppling down to the ground.
“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!” she yelled as she tried desperately to recover her shoe frantically in the middle of the Diagon Alley moving crowds.
Roleplay Response:Raffaele Caruso was in no mood for games today. His early morning meeting with St. Mungos' legal team had gone way over, meaning his lunch meeting had started late, meaning his after lunch meeting had been pushed to tomorrow. It was, to say the least, not the ideal situation.
So instead, with his unfortunately cleared afternoon, he decided to grab a table at the coffee shop, drink whatever swill the Brits were calling an espresso these days, and go over paperwork for tomorrow. Not that you should feel bad for Raff, of course. All of this was his own fault for staying out too late the night before trying to woo a Japanese witch whose father owned a racing broom company out of Yokohama.
And once again, Raff and his merry band of wealthy young men would do the same thing ton-... Oh hell, now what?
Glancing up, Raff sighed before standing up. He had no real need to help the woman, but he had nothing better to do.
”Accio!” The shoe flew into his hand as he held out the other for her.
