Hiya Esme! Thank you for your prompt view and consideration of my application! Naamah's enhanced power is more of a plot device than something she can actually use, it is something that will probably draw the Supra Mortalitas and Dark witches and wizards to her to try and steal the excess power!
Essentially although she possess insanely strong power that power is so strong that she cannot use it! If she were for instance to try and use a normal wand the magic flowing through the wand would destroy it, would overload it so to speak! As such in order to use any magic at all Naamah needs her staff, a memento of her time kidnapped by a Dark wizard it is inlaid with restraining spells that accept the large amounts of power and much like a step down transformer does for electricity it lowers her power level to the same level as her class mates.
So to sum up basically although she does have this power inside her it is only the bad guys that can use it! Trying to siphon her power and use it for evil ends, but unavailable to her without putting her life in danger! ^.^
Anywho! Enough of my rambling and I hope you like the idea!
