Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Katie was born to a well-off family in Ireland, and lived all her life in a state of ignorant bliss.  Patrick and Laura Gladfellder, owners of a highly successful dairy, gave their daugher and her older brother, Cian, everything they could ask for.

At Hogwarts, she was quickly sorted into Hufflepuff.  The sorting hat had barely touched her head when the name of her house was called, and Katie and Hufflepuff truly were the perfect match.

She did fairly average in classes, not standing out in any fashion (except where fashion was concerned), but not failing particularly terribly, either.  She was, like many Hufflepuffs, concerned primarily with her social life.  She dated several boys, and kissed several more, and was never seen without her girls.  Always the life of the party, Katie was known to spike the punch on more than one occasion.

After school, Katie moved into a simple apartment in Diagon Alley, but finds herself at her friends' place more often than at her own.  She's a party animal; many mornings she can be found passed out drunk on her friends' couch.

Katie, the blonde bombshell, works at the Diagon Alley branch of Gladrags, which is the longest job she's ever held.  She usually leaves work with at least one new article of clothing.

ROLEPLAY
Reply as your character to the following:

It was impossible for Dianne to stay out of trouble. It wasn't that she was looking for trouble, it's just that trouble always managed to find her. Today she wished she could find something equally familiar but more comforting.

The five-year old girl hugged her puffskein closer to her and brushed her face in its soft fur for comfort. She had named him herself and he was always her special pet. No she was certain she had never gone down this side street before. Her anxiety increased every second as darkness fell as she walked down the road. A loud noise came to her left and she buried her face in her pet's fur completely. The scared girl bolted the opposite way slamming the both of them into the wall of the nearest building. Tottering back a few steps she found a door a few feet to her right and ran to open it. What light there was inside spilled out into the darkness and she spilled into the room.

Once in, she was caught between the impulse to curl her cloak up more tightly around her and loosen her grip on it. She wasn't alone anymore but she was now among strangers instead, which was nearly as terrifying. Her puffskein had recovered from the shock of the wall and now was purring contentedly as the girl hugged it, causing a mildly calming effect on the girl. Gathering her courage, she marched up to the nearest person, pulled on the nearest clothing hem and blurted out in a loud voice:

"I'm lost and it's dark and I wanted to know where I am but I'm not scared but I am worried that Sambundeakin is scared because he's little and needs something to eat and wants to go home."

She paused to draw a breath in her nearly never-ending sentence, "He misses my and his mommy."

To explain the scared girl held up the custard-colored puffskein. Sambundeakin the puffskein, however simply purred as if nothing on earth was wrong in the world.

Roleplay Response:

"Restock the pink cardigans....restock the pink cardigans...." Katie mumbled to herself, as she restocked the pink cardigans.  Doris might like a pink cardigan; she'd inform her of them when she got back to their place.  On second thought... Katie placed one of the cardigans behind the counter for herself lately.  She'd just buy it for her friend, anyways.  If she didn't like it, someone would wear it.  Maybe Edna would wear it?

The tug on her blouse was unexpected, and her hand rushed to her wand in case it was the old guy who had stopped by yesterday.  He had made Katie uncomfortable.

"Oh, hello, little girl," she said, smiling pleasantly.  She frowned a bit as the girl explained her situation.  "Lets see what we can do to help."  She looked behind the counter again, but found only a flask of Firewhiskey and a bag of breathmints to cloak the scent of Firewhiskey.  She didn't think the little girl would enjoy Firewhiskey, so she handed her a breath mint.  She pulled out her wand, and, in her cutest, cheeriest voice, spoke.

"Sonorous.  Attention, shoppers, I've got a young girl and her pet lost up at the front counter here.  If she's yours, you can find her up at the front counter.  Thank you and have a great day!"  She turned back to the little girl.  "Your mommy should be here soon, dear."

Turning around, she continued restocking the pink cardigans.

Slightly upgraded bio:

Katie was born to a well-off family in Ireland, and lived all her life in a state of ignorant bliss.  Patrick and Laura Gladfellder, owners of a highly successful dairy, gave their daugher and her older brother, Cian, everything they could ask for.

At Hogwarts, she was quickly sorted into Hufflepuff.  The sorting hat had barely touched her head when the name of her house was called, and Katie and Hufflepuff truly were the perfect match.

After school, Katie moved into a simple apartment in Diagon Alley, but finds herself at her friends' place more often than at her own.  She's a party animal; many mornings she can be found passed out drunk on her friends' couch.  Late nights and hard partying are a common theme, and Katie always tries to drag her girls to the coolest scenes.

Katie, the blonde bombshell, works at the Diagon Alley branch of Gladrags, which is the longest job she's ever held.  She usually leaves work with at least one new article of clothing, for herself or her girls.  Still, she does well, and makes enough money to pay for her apartment and her basic amenities, which is aided by the monthly stipend her parents give to her willingly.

Katie may have a slight alcohol problem; she is often, at least slightly, drunk.  She’s excellent at hiding it, however.  There is usually a cute little water bottle full of firewhiskey in her purse, as well as a convenient package of rather strong breathmints to mask the scent of alcohol on her breath.
