Name: Noah Ellis Ross

Birthday:23 July, 1924

Hometown:London, England

Bloodline: Halfblood

Magical Strength (pick one): Conjuring & Summoning

Magical Weakness (pick one): Transfiguration

Year (pick two): 6th, 5th

Biography:
Noah was born on the 23rd of July, the first son of Derek and Alexis Ross. Their family was a happy one until, at the tender age of two, it was discovered that Noah was actually Derek’s second son. None of that mattered to Noah. Not until the day that Derek left his mother. Jerk.

Noah didn’t care what the other woman was like. He didn’t care when she died. He didn’t want to see her dumb kids, and he especially didn’t want to see their ugly faces when he was supposed be spending time with his dad. But year after year his mother would drop him off at that dump in Hogsmeade, and with every visit Noah grew more resistant. His dad didn’t want him there. He didn’t want to be there, and if it hadn’t been his mum insisting (he wasn’t going to break her heart like that jerk) he would have stopped visiting altogether.

At the age of eleven, Noah received his invitation to Hogwarts, but even this accomplishment was sullied by the fact that Derek’s first son was already there. The idiot had gone and gotten himself put in Ravenclaw, though, and everybody knew real Rosses were Gryffindors. Noah one. Nathaniel zero.

The next few years were spent playing quidditch. Or thinking about playing quidditch. Or dating girls when he wasn’t at quidditch practice. He had gone to class too, but it was the quidditch and the girls that remained a permanent fixture.

He wasn’t concerned with classes, even for someone who didn’t necessarily want to work in a bakery for the rest of his life which was exactly where he was headed with those grades. Occasionally he took time out of his busy schedule to dote on his sister, make fun of his brother, or drop by a good party that was, for unfathomable reasons, wasn’t in his own house. It was a pretty good life.

Noah didn’t slow down. He could hear the footsteps racing to catch up behind him, and, after hearing it squawk from across the main hall - and their shared classes and the courtyard and sometimes even Hogsmeade - he would have recognized Bixby’s voice anywhere. It was really the only thing the discerned her from all the other girls who followed after. What she lacked in a voice he found pleasant to listen to, though, she more than made up for in legs. She was nearly as tall as he was. So, in the end, he didn’t speed up either. If she caught him, she caught him.

(They said blondes had more fun.)

He turned, enjoying the view if not the noise coming out of her mouth.

“Anything for the paper.”

He owed them one anyway. That ridiculous love poem of Jackson’s they had printed had provided fodder for ridicule all summer. Not that there wasn’t already plenty to work with, but his brother’s crush on Davies had proven a great subject to poke at again and again (and was, in a way, a bit cathartic after his own experience with that spoiled ice queen). He slowed and then stopped, leaning against the stone wall as he waited for Bixby to get closer. All those legs, he would have thought she could run faster.

“What do you think about serving frog legs, Bixby?”
