Biography:
The Litchfield family name is something that Amaranthe had never been able to run away from. Even though she had never met the main family in Britain, and she knew that most of the Litchfield bloodline were considered gifted seers. Her father was more interested in the art of tea reading than anything else, and he did pretty well. Opened up a tea, and apothocary rather than having a government position.

It was how Elias Litchfield met his wife and of course as the story goes, it was destiny.

Amaranthe Babette Litchfield was their last child, and perhaps that was by design, considering Amaranthe was not an easy child. Tantrums that turned violent, and screaming matches that would shake windows it took all the patience they had obtained with their four other children to keep her in line.

And even then it was difficult. As she aged, she calmed down slightly. Less likely to have tamtrums over small things, and attempting to listen to her parents warnings and wisdoms. She still found herself with a temper, and there had been owls sent by instructors and other parents complaining of her behavior, and she never had a proper ettiquette tutor. Always seemed to make them run.

Amaranthe's father had said he had never read his children's futures, but she knew her father knew something when she had turned fourteen. He looked at her differently after that, and attempted to be much more strict with her than usual. It was something that she thought of as hypocrytical. Her father told her there was no reason to fear the future, considering he knew it. It would happen even if she stood still in one place. Still he had attempted with limited results. Either he had not informed his wife of what danger was to come, or perhaps Amaranthe's mother knew there was no use fighting it.

If Amaranthe had known perhaps she would have thought twice about disobeying her father that one night.

If she had, perhaps she would not be here in England right now, and be somewhere where she felt she did not belong.

House Request: Up to You

Personality:Amaranthe is not the sort that plays things subtle. Determined, outspoken, and the sort that does not back down from intimdation, she is not a typical southern belle. She does not like bullies, or people that attempt to manipulate her. She is not very good at keeping secrets. Not that she doesn't try, just that at times she does not see the point of keeping them or forgets that she should be keeping them. Her temper can be somewhat chaotic, and when that happens she is not the sort to parley words. Her words are loud, her actions are even bolder.

→ SAMPLE ROLEPLAY.
Amaranthe had wanted to grab something to eat. She could care less about what had happened at the quidditch game. It was not her concern about who or won or had lost. It was just a game, nothing more important than that. Of course with how everyone was acting in the great hall it seemed like the war had been called to an end.

That would not be happening though. At least not for a few more years if things went like they did. She knew this for certain, but she was not going to brag about this. Let a real seer say what was to happen. That was not her destiny, or plan in life.

Though as she closed the doors of the hallway and headed down towards the kitchens, in hopes to get a snack, she found herself being confronted by a boy with tears in his eyes.

She froze in her step. Staring at him with hard brown eyes, before narrowing them and stepping forward again. "Why would I want a picture of a crying child?" She tensed her jaw fists clenching for a moment as she stood in front of him. Staring him down. "Especially one who is crying for an idiotic reason."

Who cared what the others thought. Who cared if he had missed one shot, because in the end. That sort of thing did not matter.
