Biography:

Vladimir was born on January 10th, a few minutes early of his twin sister Anastasia Borovsky. He is the only son of Viktor and Andreina and gets a lot of privileges because of it. He is close to Anastasia and whether she likes it or not he is never far from her side. When his farther said it was his duty as a 'Borovsky man' to protect her and his other female relations no one thought he would take it so seriously. But he did.

Especially looking out for Ana. He is always around to chase off her annoyances, or fend off any unwanted male attention she may get. Because of their family's traditional values, where men are the stronger more dominant sex, his sisters tend to get more punishment than him. (It helps that he has knack for talking his way out of anything.)

Even though he couldn't care less when his older sister gets a few taps on the back of her hand, he will immediately jump to Ana's defence, and even take the blame for her. He loves her very much and would rather have a sharp whack from their scary grandmother than let her come to any harm.

Unlike Ana, Vlad doesn't tend to get on with Victoria, his older sister. She is the apple of their grandmothers eyes, a know it all with an annoyingly high self worth. Vladimir tends to play a lot of tricks on her and tournament her. He once made her hair turn green for a whole week and she freaked out big time, its one of his fonder memories of her.

Their family are devout Catholics and even though Vlad doesn't belief in any of the garbage that is God and Satan he would never voice it aloud other than with Ana. His Grandmother would likely pull his oversized ears off. So instead he does as his told and attends church when he has to, says grace and all the other above board things they expect of him. He does however stand by their family's elit views, it tends to give him a false sense of power and worth.

Personality: Vladimir is street smart and likes inventing things. He is a prankster and often tends to set traps for poor unsuspected victims, this therefore makes him a devious character with a witty but sometimes cruel sense of humour. He is fascinated with Magical Creatures and Dark Magic but hates and is terrible and Divination. Himself and his sister share a mutual love for Quiddich but he also likes other contact sports such as duelling and fencing.

Appearance: Vlad has dark hair and green eyes. His skin is pale unlike his sisters which he has got from his mother. Currently standing at 5'4 he is a few inches taller than Ana and is always neat and smartly dressed for a boy of his age. Ana likes to wind him up about the size of his ears, as he is extremely self concious about them. He is hoping in a few years he will have grown into them.

The great hall roared with students waving colorful banners and exchanging small talk about the Quiddich match that had just took place outside. It was a fast paced game and a nail biting finish with only a few points between them.

Vlad took a seat next to his sister, and smiled at the winning teams celebrating and singing victory songs loudly among one and other. But then a muddied face across from him caught his attention, the lad was still wearing his Quiddich kit and was slumped across the table feeling extremely sorry for himself.

When he got up to leave, Vlad followed behind. He was planning to cheer the lad up, he understood that it wasn't nice to loose but being this upset about it was unnecessary. His arm reached out for his shoulder but then he spun around and surprised him.

"WHAT! Haven't you ever seen a loser before? Why don't you just take a picture!"

"Bloody hell mate, its only a game. Calm down." He smirked with his hands in the air.

Hello Vladimir!

Your app is coming along beautifully and I just love when siblings attend the same school because yay family interactions and occasional awkwardness

I am interested in seeing a bit more on Vladimir's personality. You mentioned that his sister didn't agree with their elitist family leaning but that Vlad was proud of it. In what way? Does he love the feeling of power it gives him over others? Does he enjoy a great many items that only the wealthy might be able to partake in during these difficult war stricken times? Is he really proud of his heritage and the feeling that he belongs to something bigger (I can't help but smile when I look at the coat of arms for my family name - its history and I'm a piece of that).

It seems as though he really cares for his sister, but do you imagine him expressing that protective instinct in a worry-wort sort of way, troubled every time she heads off to class or somewhere he won't be around to protect her? Or is he leaning toward an overbearing sort of protection?

Again, the app looks great, just thought it might be interesting to muse over these things. When you are done, feel free to respond to this thread with any additions and adjustments and we will happily take another look.
