Biography:
"Daddy where is mommy going?" six year old Amy asked as she watched her mother walk out of the house with three suit cases.
"Your mommy is going to Peter's sweet heart."
Her father said broken.
"Why daddy?" the young girl asked. Her emerald eyes filled with confusion.
Her dad looked at her, tears filling his green eyes.
"Daddy?" she took his hand and gave him a hug, "Everything is ok daddy."
Her father engulfed her in a tight hug, "It will be sweety, it will be."

Born in Mullingar, Ireland Amy had a anything but normal childhood. Her mother, Cindy, was from England and her father, Curtis, was from Ecuador. Growing up she had many influences from three different cultures. Which resulteed in her very peculiar accent which wasn't completely Irish. The greatest advantage to her multicultural childhood was the traveling. She got to take trips all over the world, partly because of her fathers work. For the first five years of her life everything was perfect. She lived in, what seemed, the model pure blood home. Her and her family were kind to non-purebloods and muggles alike. She was always taught to treat others with respect no matter what blood the might have. This changed when her parents got divorced and her mother decided to live with a muggle born.
Because of Amy's young age she didn't understand why her mother left and her father did his best to not tell her. Until one day she over heard him talking to her aunt about how her mother had an affair with , his then best friend, Peter. She was eight at the time and her image of her mother completely shattered. She no longer wanted anything to do with her. As a result she alienated herself from her mother and was forced to spend one month out of the summer with her. By the time Amy turned ten she had completely erased her mother from her life. She would tell people her mother was dead and that her and her father were fine by themselves. She became very protective of her father and wanted to make sure no one ever broke his heart that way again.
Amy's father moved them from Ireland to Manchester when she turned eleven and had her go to Hogwarts. Amy protested because that was the school her mother went to. She begged to be allowed to go anywhere else but her father insisted.
She agreed to go but told him she it would change anything.
While in Hogwarts Amy found that she was a natural in potions and transfiguration. She found that, even though her mother went there, she loved it. Being at Hogwarts helped her realize that she wanted to become apart of the Ministry. With her fathers tenacity and determination she soon became a model student and continuously strives for excellence.

Personality: Amy is quite shy and studious. She is usually even tempered but when provoked she will let you have it. She is kind to mostly everyone except for muggleborns.

Appearance: She is 5'7 with long brown hair which she usually dies black and blonde, She has emerald colored eyes and is quite fit.

Amy had a mission and that was to get to class on time. Today wasn't her day she had gotten up late and left her books in her room. She went through her first class bookless. It was terrible but luckily for her she had read the chapter they were covering the day before. After class she quickly ran to her room to get the rest of her books. Now she was walking at a quick pace to try to get to her next class.

She turned a corner and stopped mid stride. Standing in the hall was Astrid. Amy new Astrid was a reporter and would do anything to get her story. Amy turned quickly hoping Astrid didn't see her. To her dismay she heard said girl call out after her. She quickened her pace without looking back. She heard footsteps behind her, she quickened even more till she was nearly running. She turned another and found it was a dead end she tried back tracking but instead saw Astrid in front of her.

Before Amy could get away Astrid began firing off questions. This was the last thing Amy wanted. She most definitely didn't want to be in the school paper. She had a horrible case of being shy. She could barely talk to her lab partner. Her emerald eyes widened as she tried to get away,
"I uh.... um..... Look... um... over there."
she said pointing she broke away and ran to class. Needless to say she would more than likely be late.

Hello Amy,

Welcome to HS.net!  There is just one thing that needs to be addressed before I can accept your application.  At the end of your roleplay sample, you said that Amy ran away from Astrid.  In a normal roleplay on the site, running away wouldn't give Astrid a chance to reply to your character's actions, maybe even to try and stop your character from doing just that!  Instead, if your character really would try to flee, you could say that Amy began to run.

Once you've fixed that, I'll be happy to take another peek at your application. Looking forward to it!
