Biography: (300 words minimum.)
There were two doors and Aurelia could choose to go through either of them whenever she came home from school. The door led to a hotel, a family owned business, where the left door led to a muggle part of the hotel, and the left one to the wizarding one.

Just like the hotel door, Aurelia's life was divided between the two worlds. Her parents got married when they were very young, and divorced when she was only two years old, but they both wanted to be close to the girl, so they ended up dividing the hotel into two halves. Aurelia's mother, a beautiful muggle woman, owned the posh part of the hotel, which accepted only non-magical people. Her father, originally from Jamaica, took on the other half.

Aurelia was stuck in between.

But because of it, it was always up to her what she wanted to do with her life after she graduated from Hogwarts. She could stay with her mum and help, or accept everything her father's world had to offer.

She didn't even like magical creatures that much, but somehow, when she was hiking through the forest of Scotland, she came upon an injured unicorn. The poor creature had snapped its ankle, and it took Aurelia a long time to gain the creature's trust and heal the broken bone, to the best of her ability.

That day, she wished how to do it better. After returning to London, she announced her decision to her parents that she was going to work for the Ministry. Her mother didn't take the news lightly, announcing her defeat in a dramatic tone.

From that moment, Aurelia rarely saw her mother.

But she did grow yo love her job, and took on every opportunity to travel that there was. She spent a year in the States where she helped track down a Demiguise, and came back with a broken heart.

Her return was the beginning of the healing process for her.

Option Two -
The snow had been falling steadily all morning and it didn't look like it was going to stop any time soon. Joshua Campbell scrunched his face up in a frown as he lifted his gaze to look to the sky. Snow. It really was quite a bother.

And it certainly didn't make it better that Diagon Alley seemed to be getting more and more crowded. Joshua sighed and pointed his wand at the large box that was currently placed on the doorstep of his shop. He had to get going. He had an order to deliver.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" The elderly man muttered and watched the box hover in the air for a moment. Honestly, did St. Mungo's really need that much tinsel? And with glitter of all things? He sighed again. If it hadn't been for the rather convincing stamp on the order, he would have been likely to believe it had been a prank by one of those orphaned rascals living up there.

Oh well, there was no point in waiting. Joshua deftly stirred the box down the doorstep and out onto the street, carefully levitating it above the heads of the crowd.

"Coming through! Coming through!" His voice sounded over the chatter of the crowd. "Keep out! Move ahead! Go on!" This was going way too slow. People were in the way and walking like they had all day! He huffed. Luckily the road was down hill.

"Coming through! Coming th--- arrrgh!" Joshua let out a loud shout as his feet suddenly slipped in the snow and sent him, the box, and several long strands of tinsel tumbling into the person who had been walking in front of him.

"For Merlin's sake!" Joshua muttered angrily as he hurried to his feet again, red and gold tinsel now decorating his black coat. "I am so sorry! This blasted snow!" He looked apologetic at the person he had crashed into.

Roleplay Response:
"This is the last time we're going to tell you this, Mrs Elderwand, fairies are not to be used as Christmas Tree ornaments. I mean it," Aurelia said, shooting the woman a stern look. For the third time this week, a Beast Handler had to make a trip to the Coffee Shop (one that was cozy and served the best pastries, Aurelia had to admit that) to intervene when the owner insisted on squeezing a group of fairies into elves costumes and make them fly around the most impressive Christmas Tree Aurelia had ever seen.

"You can conjure your ornaments, but living creatures are not a toy," it was a sentence that she said the most through the entire professional career. And it always amazed the witch that she had to repeat it over and over, and sometimes, it didn't even get through to people's head that they should be treating magical creatures (and non-magical too) with respect.

Once she was done with that, she left the coffee shop and realized that during the time she was in the there, the snow that had been falling all morning, managed to cover the cobblestones. The witch smiled and looked up, closing her eyes as she walked down the alley. Huge mistake.

All of a sudden, she felt something on her head and her back. Aurelia reached for a wand, half-expecting to be hexed by Mrs Elderwand, but instead, she noticed a poor wizard scrapping himself from the ground, apologizing to her. "I love the snow, and it's fine, honestly. Here, let me help you," she offered, getting to the ground to collect the tinsel and whatever could be salvaged.
