Biography:
My mother and younger sisters have always been my family. No man had ever ruled in our life, far different from Muggles. We were all home-schooled until, my letter finally came. Hogswarts School, considered one of the best, had accepted me and I could make my mother proud. My family wasn't treated with the same honour the Purebloods in Europe did. The ministry handled South American countries differently. We were outsiders. Accidents from long ago, when colonies still were the main source of power for European countries. Even though some of us where, in fact, Purebloods. As the daughter of an Immigrant Pureblood and an Unknown Wizard (Father Unknown) from Spain, I had witnessed something more than my family had ever experienced. South American Muggle-borns, Half Bloods, and Purebloods were brothers, unlike the ongoing identity war South- Eastern society seemed to have, We were all wizards here, and I certainly enjoyed it.

As the young blond approached me, thoughts filled my head. Do people actually care about the new people here? My faith in the Magic Ministry and the way the school system here operated had began to take a turn for the better. To my surprise the question had nothing to do with Classes or Teaching Methods, but rather about frog legs. Intrigued by the casual question, I actually managed to juggle the idea in my mind.
 "Frog Legs are a rather stereotypical yet ingenious way of providing a nutritional food, and display a cultural background. I would just wish for more variance in the food choice. It is certainly a big learning opportunity, everyone eats right?"

I, now late for my class, left her to her business and ran to my destination.

Hello and welcome to HS.net! We are so glad that Google led you here!

Before we can go ahead and get you accepted, there's a few things that need to be address with your application.

1. While you have met the minimum word requirement, I would like you to expand a little bit on Uray's biography. From what I gather from the application, Uray currently resides in Peru. For what reason would Uray be attending Hogwarts instead of a South American wizarding school?

It's also not very clear, does Uray live among other witches and wizards? If so, what does she think of the wizarding world? Has her mother ever talked to her about magic? Uray is at the very least a half-blood, has she even shown magical potential or was Uray and/or he mother afraid that she might be a squib/non-magical?

Also, if there is a reason for Uray to be lifted from Peru and taken to Hogwarts, how does her mother feel about her daughter being dropped in a school that's right in the middle of a World War (remember that it's 1942)?

I think I've given you enough there to think about/expand on. Hopefully I didn't put you on overload, just trying to get a true feel for who Uray is and where she is from.

2. Your RP response is written in first person past. Here at HS.net, we write in third-person past (he did, she said, they wanted, etc...). If you could edit your response to match this style, that would be most appreciated!

Biography:
My mother and younger sisters have always been my family. No man had ever ruled in our life, far different from Muggles. We were all home-schooled until, my letter finally came. The ministry handled South American countries differently. We were outsiders. Accidents from long ago, when colonies still were the main source of power for European countries.  Even though some of us where, in fact, Purebloods. It wasn't our choice to move to South America. The Great War had a big impact, and the farm fields in Europe could no longer hold the population. Moving was a need. Having grown up with no father, made me rather curious when I got the letter from the Ministry. The letter stated that my father was a Pureblood, a soldier from the First great war, English, and that now, having died honorably, his possessions and money automatically were given down to me.  I had not known anything about my father previous to that. Yet I was his first-born and carried his name, Luminous. Due to my Fathers English Heritage, I was entitled to enroll in the best school, Hogwarts, and so, make my mom proud. I told her that I would Enroll. She wasn't too keen on me going to England due to The war soon approaching. That is when I realized, I'm not just doing this to make my mom proud, but to live up to the name I had been given, a hero's name, MY name, and no one else's.
