Heyy, uhmm, I have a question. How can I actually change my picture so that it can be viewed?

You've probably done some of this already, but just to list the whole process:

• Click on your name where it appears beside your post
• Hover over 'Modify Profile' where that appears in the grey bar
• Select 'Forum Profile'
• Select 'Specify avatar by URL' (this is the important bit - we seem to be having problems with 'Upload an avatar', which is probably what you've been trying to do)
• Enter the URL of the image (you will obviously need to have uploaded the image onto the internet somewhere to do this, perhaps on Flickr, or some similar site)
• Click 'Change Profile'
