In the second muggle war, the germans and their allies were overcome in a large part thanks to the contributions of the USSR. Is there a similar thing happening in this war?

Is the muggle war still ongoing? Hiroshima and Nagasaki would have occurred several months ago now.

Really, what I want to know is why the germans/hexenreich are able to win. Obviously the OOC reason is that it's compelling if it's hard. IC, is there a handful of specific characters that stand in the way of the collapse of the french/german forces?

Hello Elias!

Yes, the muggle war is completely done with. The wizards of the UK aren't quite as aligned with the muggles as the Hexenreich was with Nazi Germany, so the Muggles of the UK aren't aware of what's going on with Wizarding UK.

The takeover of Hexenreich was completely separate from anything Nazi Germany had going on. They have power and threats, and a general lack of remorse for what they're doing. There is a resistance faction, and they're doing their work, but they are receiving no help from outside Wizarding Britain.
