The Admin team is excited to announce
a change to our Site Rating.
We are changing from 2-1-1 to 3-2-2 effective OOC May 1, 2025 for all IC threads moving forward.

Effective May 1, 2025, written content on board is expected to adhere to the new Site Rating.Why is the rating system changing?After various suggestions made by our player base over the last twenty-five years and a need to reevaluate our Site Rating and player age levels, the Admin team
surveyed our player base. The results of that survey indicated a large site interest in updating our Site Rating to reflect the needs of our players.
What does 3-2-2 mean?The 3-2-2 rating is based on the
RPG Rating system that is meant to act as a set of guard rails for what content is and is not allowed on the site's main boards.
Language - 3: Swearing and mature language is permitted.
Sexual Content - 2: Sexual content is permitted, with some limitations.
Violence - 2: Violence is permitted, with some limitations.
In general, we have increased all categories +1 level from our current state of 2-1-1.
We have also added in a requirement for
Trigger Warnings for any sensitive content, as well as an expanded explanation of the Restriction Section to give better clarity and guidance.
What about Discord?Discord is considered an "out-of-character" area, and as such, follows the same expectations as the OOC areas on site. This means that
profanity and other mature themes, such as sex and violence, are
prohibited from all channels on our main Discord server (e.g., Main Chat, Visitors, etc.). Our server follows a
2-1-1 rating in line with our site rules.
Has anything else changed?Registration Age 16+: Moving forward,
new accounts are required to be registered to players who are
16 years of age or older. The registration process will now prompt users to agree to the site’s terms and confirm that they are at least 16 years of age or older.
Age Verification: If you visit the site as a guest, you will now be prompted to verify that you are at least 16 years of age or older.
Site Rules: At this time, no existing site rules will be changing with the new rating. As the Admin team monitors rollout of this new Site Rating, we will amend rules as required and announce any changes to the site.
What should I do if I'm unsure how my content fits the new system?If you have any questions at all, prior to posting content, please
submit a Helpdesk ticket using the newly added category "Site Rating”. While it can be faster to directly message an Admin, because we know many questions will come up, we will ask you to please submit a Helpdesk ticket instead. This will allow us to better keep track, consolidate, and summarize common questions and any general clarifications more efficiently.
The Admin team is constantly monitoring the Helpdesk tickets and will do our best to respond in a timely manner.
Can I give feedback about the new rating system?Absolutely! Our
Helpdesk system is always open for inquiries, as is our
Suggestions Box.
