Hello!

Quick question. At what point in a young wizard's career is "The Trace" applied to them?

Thanks in advance!

In our version of the world, wizard children can't effectively use magic before they are eleven. Therefore, the Trace is probably placed on them at around the age of ten. Since, in the books, nobody has to physically cast the thing on Harry, I assume that it "just happens", without anyone having to come round to do it.
"You die in the dream, you wake up in reality. Ask me what happens if you die in reality."

"What happens?"

"You die, stupid - that's why it's called reality."

Sounds fair enough. What about muggle born? I assume things can happen still though. Live Severus messing with the leaves and Harry talking with the snake and making the glass disappear.
