Harken is the only child of Jethro and Wendy Sadoke, he was born in Cambridge and grew up there his whole life. Coming from a pureblood family the boy was provided with every opertunity to learn to curb and direct his growing magic. His father an officer in the navy, was a merchant by trade. His mother, wanting more children, stayed home to take care of the growing wizard.

Harken was a tow headed child, though as he grew his hair darkened to a dirty blond. At 10 years old he was skinny, but had not yet aquired the stretched look of a growing teen.

Fascinated with boats, probably because of his father, the boy hoped to grow up and fight on the big ships, for now the child was willing to settle for models he could sail on the pond there in town.

Roleplay: Reply as your character to the following:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby. "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Visiting his Grandmother in England, the boy found himself at Godric Park. Playing with one of his ships, the boy set the sails and launched out on the pond. It was a beautiful day, the first without rain since he arrived, and he was enjoying the sunlight on his face.

Looking up to watch the big kids fly over head, Harken was startled by a voice, not to far away and behind him asking if he wanted to play. Turning slowly, motioning his hand to his chest in a who me? gesture, the budding wizard nodded.

"Sure... What do you want to play?" He asked taking in her crashed broom, and the sand castle the boy near her was building in the sand pit.
