Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Tuckey Langley was born to Emmett and Astrid Langley, a muggleborn and pureblood. Emmett, despite being a muggleborn, preferred the magical world to the muggle one. His parents had never quite accepted magic and Emmett had, in rebellion, to fully embrace the magic world and forget about the muggle one. Astrid however, was the opposite. After she had met Emmett at Hogwart’s, she had become more interested in the muggle world and found them fascinating. Upon graduation, she immersed herself even more into the muggle world, learning how to drive and even getting a part-time job as a waitress.

Emmett and Astrid were very much in love and despite their differences, wanted to make it work. They got married at twenty and a few years later Tucker was born. He would be their only child - a few months after he was born his mother died in an accident on her way home from her muggle job. After that, Emmett cut-off the muggle world permanently, and raised Tucker to only know about the magical world. Emmett believed that the muggle world was too dangerous and that Astrid would still be alive if she hadn’t been a part of that world.

Tucker however, discovered an old trunk in the attic of his father’s home. Inside were old photos of his mother and some of her things. What was also in there though, was his parent’s marriage certificate - and proof of his father’s muggle heritage. Tucker, having never been one for confrontation, didn’t approach his father about it but instead began researching his father’s background secretly. The more he learned, the more resentment he held towards his father but he has yet to gather the courage to confront him. Tucker had been spending more and more time in the muggle world, trying to learn about the heritage he never knew he had.

Option One -
Amelia Nixon was many things, but she was never a pushover reporter that people could just usher away with a busy shuffle past. She was dedicated and eager to cut to the very middle of the current political tensions because she was Amelia Nixon and her articles would most certainly become front page material.

“Sir, please! It’s for the Prophet, how do you feel-“

Another one brushed passed her, the shuffling busy masses making their way through Diagon Alley for the lunchtime rush. This had been the best possible time to get people, but none of them were giving her anything to go with.

Only momentarily discouraged, the short red headed lady took a seat on a nearby bench. Her quill resting in her left hand and her notepad ready in the opposite hand. Amelia pouted, tapping the quill against her leg as she scanned the waves of people for somebody - anybody - who looked like they had something to say.

She had been dreaming of her name in bold print, Amelia Nixon: The Source of Today’s Tomorrow. She had been dreaming of the larger office and the secretaries that would fetch her the morning coffee and fetch her anything she needed. The VIP interviews and the most exclusive press passes. But all Amelia had was a page seventeen piece on the rising number of frogs in London.

Hardened by a day of no success, the reporter stood up and started to trod off down the alley. A loose stone on the cobble path caught her heel, sending the distraught girl toppling down to the ground.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!” she yelled as she tried desperately to recover her shoe frantically in the middle of the Diagon Alley moving crowds.

Roleplay Response:
Tucker had just finished a meal with his father, having met him after work. Ever since finding out that he wasn’t actually a pureblood like he’d grown up believing, Tucker found it hard to face his father. Emmett had no idea that his son knew the truth and so Tucker tried to avoid seeing his father as much as possible, though there were times when he couldn’t come up with an excuse. That afternoon had been one of them.

He wanted to confront his father, but he was the only family Tucker had left. His maternal grandparents had both passed on and his mother had died when he was an infant. As for his father’s parents - he’d never met them. His father had told him that they had died before he was born, though Tucker wondered now if that was a lie, too.

He was headed home when he saw a woman trip. He rushed to help her but he had been too late to stop her fall. “Merlin, are you alright?” he asked in a worried tone. He didn’t know the woman but he never liked to see anyone hurt. “Here, let me help you,” he bent over to help with her shoe. “And please, let me help you up,” he extended a hand to try and help her to her feet, if she accepted the help.
