Biography: (100 words minimum.)
Parker McCormick liked a great many things.

He liked sweets and climbing and graveyards and black shaggy dogs and his cousin Kora, too.

Ice mice were the best sweets, better even than chocolate because they didn’t melt and you could squeeze them really hard without squishing them. It was a pity the shop on Main Street only sold them in two colours though - if Parker was in charge they’d definitely come in blue and green and yellow too, instead of just the light pink and boring white he had to make do with.

Climbing was a load of fun, especially on really clear days when you could see for miles and miles once you’ve reached the top. Parker wasn’t allowed to climb onto the slanted roof of the Post Office any more, though. The last time he’d done that he’d slipped and grabbed onto the colourful bunting, swinging around and around until his mother managed to grab him and pull him into a tight, trembly hug.

The stones in the church graveyard were interesting and pretty and rough, almost as rough as the church wall itself. Back when he was a really small boy, Parker had taken some paper and crayons with him to the graveyard and made some some really cool pictures. These days Parker could actually read what had been carved into the grave stones so there was no need for paper and crayons any more - the stones told a story all of their own.

One of the neighbours just across the way from the town square had a big, black dog called Sooty. Her fur was all shaggy and Parker had never smelled anything like that girl’s breath. He loved her though and even though he doubted his mum would let him get one that size, he was always on the lookout for a smaller Sooty all of his own. He'd take her out for long walks and even if she got really big in time, he was sure Kora would help him with her.

Kora was his cousin and these days, he spent a lot of time with her. Wyatt, Delilah and Cherry was around too and he loved Cherry, but she was always skipping off after the older boys, probably thinking he was too much of a baby to keep up. It wasn’t true. He could run really fast, almost as fast as Kora and she always said he came up with the best games. Even when she was sad (which, these days, she often was) Parker could make her laugh until neither of them could walk properly.

Parker McCormick liked a great many things but what he liked most of all was being Parker McCormick.

Roleplay Response:
Parker loved visiting Hogsmeade with his mum.

The shops were different than they were at home and if he was good, he could always pick a sweet to eat on the way home.

Being good meant not running off, though, which was a little bit difficult. There were so many things to see, with people he'd never met before and by this point he knew the village pretty well anyway.

Luckily it was a nice day out, which meant he could play in the park. There were quite a few more kids here than there was at home and Parker watched, bright-eyed, as one of the girls shoved her training broom straight into the dirt before turning to him. It seemed her older brother had left her behind - something the boy knew was really annoying.

"You!"

Parker perked up, glancing behind him for a second to make sure she was talking to him instead of Cherry or Wyatt or even Delilah. She was looking straight at him, though, so he beamed and stepped forward.

"...Do you want to play?"

"Yes," he said loudly, "... but I can't go far."

He turned around again, hoping his mother had heard that he was doing his level best to be good.

"If I run off I won't get a sweet and that store there sells really big ice mice, much bigger than the ones we get at home."

He paused as a thought occurred to him, slowly stepping towards the girl and speaking in hushed tones.

"Do you have money? Because then you can buy some sweets for us and we can go play wherever we want!"
