Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Emmett Hendrix grew up in a turbulent household where his father, a violent and bitter man, often used him as a punching bag. Despite this harsh upbringing, Emmett found solace in the warmth and love of his mother, the only bright spot in his life. Her gentle guidance and unwavering support were his anchors until her untimely death, a loss that left a deep void in his heart.

When he received his letter to join Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry he was overjoyed-- to get out of his father's house was a boon. However, even in this new world, his troubled past followed him. At Hogwarts, Emmett was known for getting into frequent fights, unable to keep his anger in check. The school's professors saw his potential but struggled to help him channel his emotions productively.

After graduating from Hogwarts, Emmett found a new outlet for his pent-up aggression: boxing. The sport became his sanctuary, a place where he could release his anger and frustration in a controlled environment. Over the years, Emmett honed his skills and gained a reputation as a formidable boxer, known for his relentless determination and powerful punches. His career in the ring provided him with a sense of purpose and a way to cope with the scars of his past.

Now, as Emmett approaches the later stages of his life, he feels the toll that years of boxing have taken on his body. Reflecting on his journey, he realizes it's time for a change. Emmett dreams of opening a shop, a quiet place where he can leave the violence behind and create something positive. He's ready to trade the chaos of the ring for the calm of a new venture, hoping to find peace and perhaps even a bit of happiness in this new chapter of his life.

Option Two -
The snow had been falling steadily all morning and it didn't look like it was going to stop any time soon. Joshua Campbell scrunched his face up in a frown as he lifted his gaze to look to the sky. Snow. It really was quite a bother.

And it certainly didn't make it better that Diagon Alley seemed to be getting more and more crowded. Joshua sighed and pointed his wand at the large box that was currently placed on the doorstep of his shop. He had to get going. He had an order to deliver.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" The elderly man muttered and watched the box hover in the air for a moment. Honestly, did St. Mungo's really need that much tinsel? And with glitter of all things? He sighed again. If it hadn't been for the rather convincing stamp on the order, he would have been likely to believe it had been a prank by one of those orphaned rascals living up there.

Oh well, there was no point in waiting. Joshua deftly stirred the box down the doorstep and out onto the street, carefully levitating it above the heads of the crowd.

"Coming through! Coming through!" His voice sounded over the chatter of the crowd. "Keep out! Move ahead! Go on!" This was going way too slow. People were in the way and walking like they had all day! He huffed. Luckily the road was down hill.

"Coming through! Coming th--- arrrgh!" Joshua let out a loud shout as his feet suddenly slipped in the snow and sent him, the box, and several long strands of tinsel tumbling into the person who had been walking in front of him.

"For Merlin's sake!" Joshua muttered angrily as he hurried to his feet again, red and gold tinsel now decorating his black coat. "I am so sorry! This blasted snow!" He looked apologetic at the person he had crashed into.

Roleplay Response:
Emmett sighed heavily and watched his breath turn to mist before him. He'd had a shit day and it was becoming apparent that it wasn't going to get any better. His trainer was of the opinion that Emmett was getting too old to continue his current career path of boxing.

Unfortunately, Emmett was going to have to agree with him. He was getting too old. He could feel it in his bones. Every part of his was sore just from a training session alone. He could recall a time in his youth when the training sessions were invigorating and not as tiring as he found them nowadays.

A box came out of nowhere and bounced off his chest. Thousands of little tinsel strands hit the ground. A body was under there somewhere. Annoyed, Emmett stepped over the mess.

"Watch where you're going, yeah?" He growled and brushed stray tinsel off his chest. And then because his mother would be disappointed in him if he didn't at least check, "Are you alright?" He asked grudgingly.

Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Emmett Hendrix grew up in a turbulent household with his father and mother. His father was a violent and bitter man while his mother was a soft and nurturing presence. Despite this harsh upbringing, Emmett found solace in the warmth and love of his mother, the only bright spot in his life. Her gentle guidance and unwavering support were his anchors until her untimely death, a loss that left a deep void in his heart.

When she died Emmett decided that the only way he was going to get out under the thumb of his father was to save money to eventually get himself emancipated and live by himself. So he spent all of his time outside of the home making up new and interesting ways to make money. Most of these ways involved fighting.

By the time he turned sixteen, he was emancipated and living on his own.

However, he still needed to make money to live outside of Hogwarts. Which led him to organizing Fight Nights in London amongst the younger crowd-- usually teens and Uni students. Young adults would pay to enter the fights to win the fight purse, while the young adult spectators would place bets on who would win. Emmett, of course, would take a cut of both the fight purse and the bets.

After graduating from Hogwarts, Emmett naturally went into boxing. Not to mention the winnings he took home were nothing to scoff at.

Now, as Emmett approaches the later stages of his life, he feels the toll that years of boxing have taken on his body. Reflecting on his journey, he realizes it's time for a change. However, he's back where he started in his youth-- needing money to survive.
