Biography:
Ginny was born to a pureblood family living in London. Her father, Henry, is an Englishman, very proud of his heritage, his family and himself. To strangers he might seem cold, judging and hard. But knowing him better you will come to learn that all he does is love and protect his family.
Her mother, Charlotte, is German and met her husband on his travels. They fell in love and moved to the UK together. She is a beautiful woman, kind and loving, soft-hearted, seeing good in everything and everyone.
Due to Henrys job with the Ministry as a diplomat they all moved to Germany when Ginny was 3 years old. Having an English dad and a German mom, she speaks both languages fluently.
When Ginny's 11th birthday came close, Henry and Charlotte knew they wanted her to attend Hogwarts, instead of Durmstrang. So her father requested to go back to the UK to work for the Ministry there.
At 10 years old Ginny and her family moved back to London. Ginny wasn't too happy about it first but understood after her parents explained to her that Hogwarts is the best Wizarding School in the world and she would have the best time of her life there.
So she got her letter on the 26th of December and has been anticipating September 1st ever since.

Note: This section is optional, and is up to you to complete.

House Request: Slytherin

Personality:
Ginny grew up in a loving family. Family is very important to her. She is proud of where she comes from, her family and who they are, but she never let is grow over her head. She firmly believes that everyone is equal.
She is a clever girl and very determined. If she wants something, she will find a way to achieve it. But never choosing ways that would hurt others. She is a fun person to be around, she loves adventures and discovering new things.
She knows what she wants and won't let someone stand in her way. Sometimes this makes her seem harsh and cold, turning people away from her. On the other hand in some cases she let's her loving and soft side take over too much, making it easy for others to take advantage. She still needs to find the balance in between.
She loves rainy days, reading, good food, adventuring with her friends and being alone from time to time.
She doesn't like hot days, loud people, spiders, ignorant and self absorbed people.

Appearance:
Ginny has dark brown, wavy hair that reaches down to the middle of her back. She mostly has it tied up to a high ponytail because it falling into her face annoys her deeply (cutting it is not an option though). She is build like a normal 11 year old. Not too short, not to tall. She whished the could be a little skinnier, especially around the belly, even though she knows her weight and statue is perfectly normal.
Her dark green eyes are the thing she likes most about her appearance.

Option 2:

That rat of his was in for it now.

The gray little rascal had disappeared from his clutches at breakfast. Again.

Before Hugh even knew what was happening, Merlin had shot across the floor, somehow managing to avoid all the feet walking across the hall and had escaped through the open doors.

Which meant that Hugh was now stomping through rows of flowers and other various flora, searching for the small creature. It was like the rat knew Hugh was allergic to most flowers. Merlin always chose to run to the gardens whenever he got away from Hugh. It was as if the rat did not want to have him for an owner.

Hugh had named his pet Merlin because he had hoped the powerful name would give the rat more incentive to be more than a rat. Not that he expected Merlin to change into a wizard or anything, but rats were just so...useless, for the most part. With a name like Merlin, Hugh thought it might give the rat purpose.

The only purpose Merlin seemed to have was getting away from Hugh as often as possible.

As the fifth year trudged into the second row of flowers, not taking much care to avoid trampling the first row, he felt the first sneeze building up pressure in his nose and behind his eyes.

"You blasted rat! Where are you?"

He pulled apart a section of bright red flowers; he didn't know what they were called because he despised flowers, and ducked his head low to peer into the depths of the flowerbed. It was moving closer in proximity to the flowers that finally did it. Hugh took in three great breaths and then let out an almighty sneeze. It was strong enough to disturb some of the dirt on the ground before him.

Groaning, he stood up again and wiped his nose on his sleeve. It was as he was turning his head, his nose running up and down his arm, that movement in his peripheral vision caught his attention. Normally one who preferred to put his best face forward, Hugh was a bit embarrassed to be caught wiping his runny nose on his robes.

Nevertheless, Hugh put on his best haughty voice. albeit a bit thickly with his plugged nose and said, "Can I help you with something? It is not polite to stare."

Roleplay Response:

Leaning against a big oak tree Ginny was sunk into the book she just got from the library this morning. Not being able to take many books with her she made it a number one priority to get something to read as quickly as possible.
It was a wonderful day and Ginny used this to enjoy some sun and quiet from the busy Great Hall. From here she could smell the flowers growing beautifully a little over to the left.
She was about to turn the next page when she heard shouting and feet stomping across the floor. Ginny looked up to see an older student running towards the flower beds to her left, cursing under his breath. Half amused, half shocked at his ignorance towards the neatly organized flower beds, she watched the scene. Apparently he was searching for something. And Ginny thought she knew what it was.
Just always one step ahead, she saw a rat hiding in the flowers. She had to giggle a little bit when she gave a jerk as the older student sneezed.
"Jesus", she muttered under her breath still watching and giggling.
Then suddenly the student got up and turned around. With a running nose and a thick voice, his eyes kind of red and puffy he sad: "Can I help you with something? It is not polite to stare."

Startled Ginny stared at him. "Err...", she stammered. The situation was fun enough to watch. But now that an older student she didn't know spoke directly to her and with a voice that suggested he wasn't in for jokes, it did scare her a little bit.
With a finger she pointed at a spot some couple of feet to the right of the student.
There in the grass hiding between huge sunflowers sat a small rat.
"Is that maybe the rat you're looking for?" With an uncertain smile she looked back up to the student, hoping he wouldn't stat yelling at her.

Head of Ravenclaw
schoolbag in hand, she leaves home in the early morning
waving goodbye with an absent-minded smile
I watch her go with a surge of that well-known sadness
and I have to sit down for a while
