Biography:
Cybele Silvers became a mother before she was ever fully an adult. One whirlwind, precarious relationship after her graduation from Hogwarts had left her penniless, pregnant, and all alone for the first time. It hadn't been long since she had cut ties with her stuffy pureblood parents and changed her name from Cressida Fairfield to her much-preferred stage name, Cybele Silvers. She was an aspiring singer, a career choice her parents had never approved of, and now with a baby on the way, it was quite clear she would never have the full support of her parents. So when Ines entered the world kicking and screaming, it only made sense for her to enter as a Silvers and not a Fairfield, and that was that.

Cybele loved her daughter fully, but that didn't mean she was always the most attentive mother. As a singer forging her way onto the Wizarding music scene, her number one priority was always her career and Ines was just along for the ride. Not that Ines ever really objected, she never knew any better. Besides, she was never alone. Ines could always find the company of her mother's band, The Billywigs, even if they didn't make for the most age appropriate of friends. Most of her early years were spent barefoot, running freely around her mother's various venues, getting into things she probably shouldn't have been around, and keeping herself entertained. It certainly wasn't a dull childhood, but it did grow to be a lonely one. It was rare she ever got to spend much time with children her own age, and although her mother always had Ines nearby, Cybele was never really available.

Ines' sixth birthday was a big one. It was the first year The Billywigs had seen an ounce of success, which meant Ines got her first real birthday party - complete with streamers and a pink cake and gifts. For the first time, the day was fully and completely about Ines Silvers, and it lit something within her. From that moment on, Ines' greatest mission was to be loved and adored, by any means necessary. Although not all of her attempts to garner attention were fruitful or well received, something changed within Ines that day. She had finally discovered what it felt like to be significant. Pandora's box had been opened, and there was no more chance of putting Ines back in again.

Now, Ines' eleventh birthday has been the biggest one yet. Although initially her letter to Hogwarts was not welcomed with open arms - what would be so fun about being stuck in a stinky old castle in the middle of nowhere anyway? - Ines has slowly begun to open up to the idea, finally deciding she is, in fact, quite excited to try something new, and maybe make some friends her own age.

→ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

Personality:
There's no telling Ines she's not important, she simply won't believe it. Ines knows she's destined for greatness and once she's set her eyes on something, there's no stopping her. Outgoing and bubbly, outwardly she gives herself freely to others and any social situation she finds herself in. She is genuinely curious about people and the world around her. However, it's hard to ever truly know Ines, as she keeps almost everyone around her at arm's distance - it's easier that way. She's bright and quick-witted, with a keen passion for music and animals. She's a girls-girl through and through and makes a fiercely protective friend until the end.

Appearance:
Mousy blonde hair kept long and wavy. Large green eyes, that look almost grey in some lights. Ines stands at an average height with a rather carefree disposition, although she enjoys looking nice and takes great pride in her appearance. Even at her young age, there's already a slight edge to her dress and how she carries herself - almost as though she is trying to look older. She's not afraid to take risks with her fashion choices, especially now that she's been deemed old enough to dress herself.

Option 2:

That rat of his was in for it now.

The gray little rascal had disappeared from his clutches at breakfast. Again.

Before Hugh even knew what was happening, Merlin had shot across the floor, somehow managing to avoid all the feet walking across the hall and had escaped through the open doors.

Which meant that Hugh was now stomping through rows of flowers and other various flora, searching for the small creature. It was like the rat knew Hugh was allergic to most flowers. Merlin always chose to run to the gardens whenever he got away from Hugh. It was as if the rat did not want to have him for an owner.

Hugh had named his pet Merlin because he had hoped the powerful name would give the rat more incentive to be more than a rat. Not that he expected Merlin to change into a wizard or anything, but rats were just so...useless, for the most part. With a name like Merlin, Hugh thought it might give the rat purpose.

The only purpose Merlin seemed to have was getting away from Hugh as often as possible.

As the fifth year trudged into the second row of flowers, not taking much care to avoid trampling the first row, he felt the first sneeze building up pressure in his nose and behind his eyes.

"You blasted rat! Where are you?"

He pulled apart a section of bright red flowers; he didn't know what they were called because he despised flowers, and ducked his head low to peer into the depths of the flowerbed. It was moving closer in proximity to the flowers that finally did it. Hugh took in three great breaths and then let out an almighty sneeze. It was strong enough to disturb some of the dirt on the ground before him.

Groaning, he stood up again and wiped his nose on his sleeve. It was as he was turning his head, his nose running up and down his arm, that movement in his peripheral vision caught his attention. Normally one who preferred to put his best face forward, Hugh was a bit embarrassed to be caught wiping his runny nose on his robes.

Nevertheless, Hugh put on his best haughty voice. albeit a bit thickly with his plugged nose and said, "Can I help you with something? It is not polite to stare."

Roleplay Response:

It was going to be a long day of classes, Ines Silvers was equipped with a schedule to make even the most ambitious of students grit their teeth. For the most part, she liked her classes, but today she joined the ranks of her exacerbated peers, begrudgingly steadying her bag on her shoulder, bogged down by the weight of her books.

It had never been her intention to end up out in the gardens, but she had made a clear miscalculation with time.

In all honesty, Ines hadn't really looked at her schedule carefully. She knew her classes lasted all day, but she hadn't realized Herbology began at 10, not 8 o'clock sharp. So she had some time to kill.

And to be honest, the gardens weren't the most immediate choice for her spare time.

It wasn't that she didn't like them, the flowers were beautiful... but they felt unfamiliar. She had relatively little experience in the dirt and the mud.

But she liked the flowers, and the crisp and clean air, and she figured it wouldn't kill her if she got a little dirty- she was going to Herboloy later anyway, I mean, the dirt was inevitable. So not long after 8, Ines plopped onto the grass, haphazardly tossing aside her bag on her way down.

She thought about perhaps plucking some of the flowers in one of the flower beds nearby. They were red, which she liked, and they seemed to be about the right size for some sort of flower crown. She wasn't really sure how exactly to make one, but surely it wasn't that hard-

Only, the young girl didn't have much time to decide. With little notice, the very flowers she had been admiring were suddenly squashed underfoot by a very rude, very sneezy older boy. Ines couldn't help but helplessly fling up her hands and stick out her lower lip in an act of protest. Why did icky older boys have to ruin everything?

He didn't even seem to notice that he had just totally ruined her potential plan, which was obviously annoying, and Ines couldn't help but gawk at him from her spot in the grass. It was hard not to, the older boy was not being very discreet... but then again neither was she. It seemed her reaction had garnered his attention as well.

"I don't know... aren't you a little too old to be stomping through the gardens?" She retorted, countering his pointed statement with her own observation.

"Ugh, nevermind," She relented, getting up from her spot with an overdramtic sigh. She supposed there was really no reason to hold the flower murder against him. Besides, she had time to kill.

"What does your rat look like anyway? I'll help you look, I have a really good talent for finding things."
