Biography: (100 words minimum.)
Archibald Nathaniel Hartley was born the day before Valentine's Day in 1950, ironically enough just one day older than his favorite cousin Sebastien.

Archie was the first male born to Camilla and William Harley, followed by Declan two years later. His parents were well known throughout the pureblood circles, commanding the respect of those they came into contact with. On the surface, they were a happy, wealthy family. His mother was a retired opera singer, often spending time off in childhood to travel to different countries, performing in various opera houses. On the other hand, his father owned one of the largest banks in England and several properties around the country. William and Camilla were determined to live as luxuriously as they could and keep their children from wanting for anything. Truth be told, there were whispers of shady dealings but nothing substantial would ever be found.

The boys grew up fairly close to their cousins on William's side - Bash, Sola, Noemi, and Esmee. Because Archie didn't have any sisters, he felt very protective of the girls. Bash was practically his best friend, always getting into trouble together and doing something completely ridiculous. He enjoyed his life, and did all he could to make others laugh, or flirt with any skirt he saw. Life was far too short to not go after what you wanted.

That's why he liked being at Hogwarts - there were plenty of pretty girls to flirt with, snog here or there. It was fun being a teenager and he soaked up every moment.

Roleplay:
Reply as your character to the following:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:
Archie really hated going shopping with his family, particularly the matriarch.

He did enjoy shopping when it came to being alone or with Bash. Whenever the boy was out, he knew precisely what he was on the hunt for and got straight to the point. There was no lollygagging, not like with his mother. She liked to go into almost every shop and look at all of the pretty things. It was annoying and time consuming, two things that he despised.

So when dear old mum went into the fifth shop that afternoon, Archie took his brother and walked across the street to the park. Surely, there would be something more to do out in the sun than cooped up waiting on whatever pointless conversation she was having.

A little girl’s voice interrupted the brothers’ conversation, asking them to play. Archie glanced sideways at his brother before turning back to the girl, “Ya got a sister?” A wicked smirk appeared before he felt his brother’s heated glare.
