Name: Lavinia Gwendolyn
Birthday: July 21st
Hometown: Newcastle
Bloodline: Pureblood
Magical Strength (pick one): Charms
Magical Weakness (pick one): Divination
Year (pick two): Fourth or Fifth Year
Biography:
The young girl lives in a three stories manor, owned by the Gwendolyn family, hidden between two houses. She lived happily with her parents, a great grey owl that is just as old as she is, and a Maine coon cat that her father found at the muggle city while he was working on a short mission at the Ministry of Magic. She also has a few other family members living in the same house, making her used to crowds and not being alone. But things truly lit up when she found her magic. Unfortunately though, she found it at the wrong place.
She was walking around with her mother and father in the non-magical muggle city, a routine that they all follow once in two weeks to get used to the non-magical people, their way of living, their food and beverage, and so on. Just in case Lavinia turned out to be a squib, so she won’t be confused when living with the muggles if she had to. Her father and mother are already used to the sight because, whereas her father works at the Department for Use of Muggle Technologies, her mother works at St. Mungo Hospital as a healer. As both occupations require them to walk through the muggle world, of course they are familiar with it. They even own a sedan car just to shorten the long travel and to be safe around muggle onlookers. Even though they can simply disapparate or use the floo network, they rather watch the sight of the non-magical folk, doing many things without any magic.
With everyone dressed as proper muggles, they set off to a restaurant that had a huge aquarium filled with many aquatic animals swimming around. They ordered their food and seated themselves nearby the aquarium. Lavinia stared at it the whole time, wondering how it feels like to swim with those creatures. When the food came, she asked her mother if she could swim inside of the aquarium. Her mother was ridiculed by this, but her father just laughed. He said that she could, but she had to pay for it, and that she needed to eat before swimming. She immediately grinned widely in agreement and wolfed down her food, with and occasional choke here and there due to the rush. After that, she finally swam with the animals.
What could go wrong?
Unfortunately, once Lavinia rose from the aquarium, her whole body and even her swimsuit were dry. All head to toe. Every muggle nearby her was so confused, they started to mutter unflattering things about her. As her father was about to collect her, she ran onto him and said quietly that she was completely dry after swimming, which was clearly unusual. She then asked out loud if that meant that she finally had magic. That triggered even more murmurs and mutterings from the muggles. One even shouted to her that magic wasn’t real. Before Lavinia could utter anything back to the muggle, her father quickly pulled her away from the muggles along with her mother, and immediately went home. After that, the muggle routine went on as usual, but her parents kept more attention to every action she took, just in case something magical like the aquarium incident would happened again.
She received her letter a month after that in summer, sent by a brown owl that literally flew into her room by the morning. She was so happy she showed it to everyone in at home. She even showed the letter to the house elves. After her father sent a reply, her parents took her to Diagon Alley with their car, and bought her the required school robes, her school books, her school equipment, and a reddish brown great horned owl to carry her letters and packages later. Once September 1st came, she set off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At Hogwarts, she met many new friends of her year, and even met some people that she had met on train. She also loved the lessons, Charms and Muggle Studies being the ones that captured her heart the most. When Christmas and summer came, she always came home and spent most of her time writing letters, visiting the muggle world, and playing with all her family. In short, she was as happy as she had ever been.

Option 1:
“Hello! Is Emma Birch here?”
Lavinia heard the words echoing through the walls as she jogged through the worst place possible. Four and a half years at Hogwarts, and still she managed to get lost. Even worse, she got lost in the dungeon. At night. Perhaps she was all too caught up with summer that she always forgot her way around? Blimey, forgetful she is.
The words sent shivers through her. She thought she was alone in this. Okay, maybe not since it was said that a ghost by the name Emma Birch haunted the dungeon. Plus the person that called out the ghost’s name just a moment ago. Her skin crawled, why would anyone go to the dungeon at this literal dark time? Maybe they were pranked so that they ran away? Perhaps the person was dared? Maybe they challenged someone on a duel? But, why would anyone challenges a ghost that probably didn’t even exist? Before her thought s could go any further, she shook her head. The more important question was what that person doing in this very place. Curiosity devoured her, leaving her fear behind.
She stopped on her track, whoever was there must be nearby, as the sound wasn’t all that far. She tried to call out, “Hello? Is anyone there?”
The words simply bounced back, echoing through the walls. She bit her bottom lip nervously. The eerie darkness kept her shivering and scared. The cold damp air and the fact that she was alone didn’t help. Definitely not wanting to stay any longer, she ran. Thump, thump, thump! Her footsteps echoed rapidly as her heart was beating faster than it had ever been.
Before she knew it, she stumbled upon something and fell. Fortunately, she was able to quickly break the fall with her forearms. Unfortunately, now she had a pair of throbbing arms. “Ouch…” She muttered. “What was that?” She asked herself out loud, but barely above a whisper. She turned around to look at whatever it was that made her fell. Apparently, it was just a tiny broken gap on the floor.
“Blimey, that is it?” She sighed. She must’ve been so afraid that she didn’t watch where she was going. Her heart even jumped! At least she had her arms as her saviors from falling face first with the possibility of breaking her nose flat. Slowly, she managed to stand up. Although her legs felt a little wobbly, maybe it was because she had fallen rather hard. After giving her saviors some pats, she continued walking instead, since running didn’t sound good anymore.
The sound of her footsteps echoing was the only thing that made her feel safe. Thump, thump, thump. It echoed again. “Hello?” She called out once more. She kept on walking and calling out, until she saw the blonde little girl standing there. The girl was young, maybe a first year student. Her complexion seemed extremely pale in the dark, giving her a ghostly silhouette. Lavinia felt her bravery wavered as she slowly stopped on her track.
C-could that be… She thought, swallowing the fear that was building up in her throat. E-Em…Emma Birch?!
